Would like to hear more about how Tameika's approach differs from B.F. Skinner's methods. Truly appreciated Tameika's passion and confidence at the end of the video.
Thank you for all of your videos! I am starting my masters in aug in ABA and started questing if it was the right move for me bc of all of the controversy. Through watching many of your videos I feel confident that this field is right for me! ABA needs people that are focused on the child first focusing on there well being helping them be more independent and happy! Seriously thank you!
The negative aspect of ABA is the punishment. “Time out” rooms are used often. Good centers need to be found by parents but punishment needs to be eliminated from behavioral modification.
I dont think those places where us time out rooms are good clinics. Most of our kids dont know about feelings, the will not understand what happening as they dont know the difference between be mad or happu or feel guilty. At least my son doesnt now at this moment
