I totally agree. This was a time when vocalists like Tamia were so diverse. She could do something as funky and danceable as Imagination. Then turn around and give you a ballad as beautiful as Who Do You Tell and Show Me Love. Very few artists that do that today (except the late great Whitney Houston). Tamia should have been a megastar.
I'm 100% a manly man and this song hits me in the soft spot all the time. Brings back so much memories. Tamia made real music. It's almost 2018 and music is dying to all the up and coming RAPPERS. Thank God we got people like Sam Smith to show that we still real music with real meaning.
This is a beautiful song. The entire album is awesome, so if you don't have her first album, you should go out and get it :). Sucks that real artists don't get the recognition they deserve.
Someone on social media asked my favorite road trip song. While I don’t listen it to much these days my first answer that came to mind was this jam. Takes me back to a road trip with my pledge sisters from so cal to the bay. Lots of good memories!
