Madam, As a tamil, I humbly inform you that we tamils are proud to be an Indian's since India's independent. At the same, you must clearly understand one important historical statement that we tamils are one of the oldest civilized ethnicity and our classical language tamil exists even today as an evidence to our ethnic. @@fireboys2475 see, There is one nation but not a one language, even till date govt didn't recognised Hindi as national language which itself states a lot about acceptance of diversity.. BJP never pushed Hindi towards southern states, it was there since from the beginning of our education system, and how can anyone blame a govt that has nothing to do with Hindi imposition or Hindi glorification? Maybe they are from Hindi speaking states but we have to consider that despite them being having a mother tongue, they choose Hindi so that they can interact with half of India without difficulty.. Modi praised WHO cheif when he spoke in gujarati because he love languages especially his mother tongue as we do, if you are true about imposition then by now the northern and northeastern states wouldn't be able to speak in their mother tongues as we do, right? Even in south Hindi was never imposed tbh, it was always an optional language that is useful to survive in other states of India.. As far as I know people in south use English 10 times more than Hindi but still call Hindi as imposition which is bs, I'm from South too and I love learning languages, if Hindi was an imposition in here then I might have mandatorily learned Hindi which is not the actual case.. See, Hindi is not gonna kill our mother tongues but English will certainly do that and when that say comes you feel English is superior than your mother tongue which is already a case in South..

@MrzazilBalzurar i dont know where you studied indian history...Hindi is spoken by 60% of of indian population ..It is natural for the government of the day to declare a major language of the country as official language and main tool of communication. Otherwise indians have to choose their colonial masters language english.. At the same time every state has its own official language which is spoken by majority people of the state although the minorities and immigrants in the state have their own mother tounge..

@MrzazilBalzurar i dont know where you got your statistics...hindi is a major language of communication on northern india and pakistan even during independence time. Even in sounthern india most people in karnataka, andra pradesh, telunggana, kerala can under stand hindi .. In tamil naadu people are slowly learning hindi for better communication with northern indians . Even many dravidian party parlimentarians speak hindi when they go to New Delhi ..

You are so delusional it's crazy. 1st, Punjabi is nowhere widely spoken in Delhi. Delhi is full of Hindi speaking population. Second, a normal Pakistani cannot understand pure hindi, focus on the word "pure" because pure Hindi has many words from Sanskrit. 3rd, even in Tamil Nadu many people speak great Hindi, I toured Chennai and Madurai and never faced any problem if someone doesn't know Hindi then they speak in English. 4th, just being from south India doesn't make you entitled to a PM seat, it takes hard work and wide spread reach which you can never get if you just speak Tamil in India, even talented Tamil politicians will remain just local politicians because they cannot be understood by everyone else even states right next you let alone UP and other states.

Go and read in the India's archeological site, there are 68, 000 stone inscription's found across the india by the India's archeological department and Above 48,000 inscriptions are belong to Tamil. Aslo i can give you thousands of evidences from my side but i don't want to give them to the ignorance like you and you must go and find out from government sites and internet. After all, Our PM Modi himself said in the parliament and out side parliament that Tamil is older than Sanskrit. You peoples never read the truth and asking for evidence shamelessly.
