First of all it’s not census data but projected data by using Arithmetic calculations. They have growth rate from 2001-2011 and they applied the same rate in 2021 too . City’s which are expanded in 2011 or newly formed in 2011 or between 2007 to 11 got good jump in population rate in 2011 and they considered the same rate in 2021 too. Trichys case the city is waiting for its massive expansion which is proposed now with more then 30+ village Panjayaths and 2 town panjayaths and 1 municipality is planned to be include in corp and around 5-6 lakhs population living outside corp. we will know the real population only after official census also proper expansion happens .
