Bursting with joyful energy as soon as he walked into the KNKX Seattle studios, pianist Tamir Hendelman had all of us excited in no time. By the end of his three-song performance, our studio audience were left grateful for this chance to see a perennial sideman take the lead. Tamir's trio includes longtime collaborator Alex Frank on bass and the talented Dean Koba on drums.

First saw him with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and in person at Dizzy's in NYC with Jeff Hamilton. What a phenomenal pianist and sideman.

Very good version of this Charlie Parker tune. Wonderful piano solo. I had never heard of Tamir Hendelman before this. Thanks for furthering my jazz education.

Great demonstration on how to turn a cheery upbeat song into something that sounds like it should be the background for a haunted house movie. Dark and dreary. No idea why people do this. No thanks.
