First run with the Tamiya Mad Bull. An instant fave and slightly bonkers RC . Running friction shocks which will be upgraded in good time.Hope you enjoy:) www.epidemicso...
I love this buggy/truck/truggy!!! It is one I wanted when I was a kid but never got. It has been on the to-get list for quite some time but have not been in stock anywhere. I did recently find one and got it and I am very much looking forward to building and running it. I like the color you went with on yours!
Thanks buddy. Yeah definitely add this concoction of buggy and monster truck to your collection. It’s just a blast mate . And I have some customisation ideas as well . Thanks for watching my friend 😊👍
That looked like tons of fun, matey! Lisa did a great job on the camera again. It was fun watching the crazy wheels bouncing up and down, that buggy is bonkers! :D
Hiya Dom. That looked like great fun. It's funny watching these because it looks like the front wheels are barely attached to the car and are about to fall off! Great vid mate 🙂
What a weird and special vehicle, this, part monster, part buggy! Looks like lots of fun, I loved the slow motion bits, it really soaked up the jumps very well, I guess party through the suspension but also those big tyres! Nice Friday entertainment for sure!
It is bonkers Dom, but it doesn't look like it bounces as much as some of the other chassis with them. Oh just thought are they proper friction shocks with the tube inside or the new pogo stick ones? Anyway great job and great video mate. Keep safe and all that and everything.
Not sure mate as they were already assembled. The wild Willy has the tube friction shocks and tbh they are pretty decent . All in all I was quite impressed with the bull cross country . Mostly went where I pointed it 😂 cheers Rob 😊👍
@@PieAndChips I said one of the worst not the worst! Look anything with a rigid axle is pretty dodgy in any term real performance in any way in truth especially if going on a outdoor track genuine bumpy off road surface! Smooth wet sand they can be actually be pretty awesome but has to be smooth! But the biggest point is they are bloody immensely good fun to drive full stop! But don't misunderstand me the hoppers are all Legendary buggies classics that started the Golden era Boom!!! I remember seeing back in the day a grasshopper on the track for the first time and thinking wow that thing is incredible! The basic Grasshopper and Hornet with its list of limitations is probably two of the most iconic rc tamiya's of all time in that same mix of tamiya's like the Sand Scorcher, Hotshot, Avante, Clod, Lunchbox, Wild one Blackfoot and Monster Beetle, 959! Those hoppers are in this company reputation wise and in iconic status! Iol yeah baby you will get no hate for the rigid axle Brigade from me!
@@rc-dom-uk yep like I said to pie these are all about the fun! Just put a mad bull in reverse and see what happens it's just crazy! The big wheels helps this thing get away with a lot on the rough stuff though! I had one years ago and the thing was a total hood! The word worse can mean many things in this hobby but something I have noticed it usually means fun! Look at all the hoppers pretty terrible really but absolute classics of the past and still selling today because they are so much damn fun to drive! Looking forwards to the next vid Dom cheers James.
Hi there Dom, a fantastic video capture and editing of the bouncy Madbull, I would have to say Madbull by name and Madbull by nature 😂😂😂 how much more fun can you have with this great cross buggy / truggy derivative? Looks amazing and I recognise the area from the racing series with Mark, Rob, Craig and your good self. Great RC. Take care and best wishes to you all 😊
Great! Reminds me some good fun sessions with mine & my bro's one :) A cheap & good mod is to put the Stadium Blitzer / Blitzer Beetle wheels on: makes it "almighty"! :D
Cheers buddy 👍 handles better than the lunch box but does suffer from understeer . It’s more like a super charged hornet . I’ve got an over view coming Tuesday mate on the chassis . I recommend it as it’s cheap and fun 👍
Awesome footage Dom! Love how the Mad Bull doesn’t give a crap about anything in front of it. Hills, roots, sand, jumps… it doesn’t matter! You should check out the steering mod as it takes some of the slop out of the front end. What motor are you running??
All stock Craig mate. I’ve got an overview coming Tuesday of the stock set up and then next run I’m popping those shocks on 😊👍 Yeah it’s perfect for where I run and an absolute blast . Love it 😊👍
