Tamiya Mad Bull Build... 

I love the mad bull .when fitted with decent shocks servo and get rid of the wire servo arm its awesome lol.

I'm the same with tamiya. I get so excited like I'm 10 years old again. Brings back good old memories every time

I love the back pivot mount on the madbull makes it a good crawler too with oil shocks.

Nothing like slightly over powering a basic buggy and then giving it a good thrashing to see what it can take! Good simple fun.

Oh that thing is going to fly with the brushless set in. I think that the gearing is quite high as my mates one goes way quicker than my lunchbox with the same brushless set. These are great fun. Nice build so far 😁

Go 1/8 back wheel conversion on armour wheels tyres.im running 8.4v 5000nimh on my grandsons mad bull tottaly stock but 17t pinion,ftx shocks all round ballraced just like mine.so much fun and lasts for ages.

The Hornet has a bit of the same way of pivoting the gearbox , as I can remember from way back there were some springs in it to. Of course they break. lol. Tires seems a lot like from the lunchbox.

Got a madbull took a year build lol.ftx vantage shocks motor full ballraceced .8.4v 5000nimiha on stock lecky custom shell 2x 2w search lights .

Glenn the way you're talking about this bugging and I would feel the same way if you did think the way I'm thinking about this I think this could be one of them next 102 miles that will be considered vintage one day and you said maybe not the one but the way you're talking about it maybe it will the next 100 vintage.

I've taken the servo wire control arm out made a better one out off scraps from vantage 2.0 also the shocks fitt straight on ball cups the lot drives like a champ.

I've fitted the back wheel conversion too 1/8 wheels gives better stance and grip.

Hey, great video. I’m looking at getting a Madbull for my 8yo who loves RC cars. For now all he’s used are Amazon specials. Would you recommend the Madbull as a beginners car? Or any other Tamyia? I’ll build it for him, and he’ll be racing it mainly off road. Thanks

Stick some weight in the front. Should improve steering and reduce those bloody wheelies. Could allow a 3S

put the cva's on the inner most mount on the lower wishbone, improves handling dramatically.... also does tamyia grease still smell like prawns????? odd question i know but the old 80's molybdium greas smelled like seafood..... :D

I bought a used Mad Bull. It is so worn out it need a new EVERYTHING. surprised nothing is broken but it was well used! Everything is worn out!

Is it possible to turn the Pogo shocks into oil-filled shocks?

You better glue the tires or the damn brushless motor is gonna fling all four into the weeds 😆😆😆

Not much you can do for the play in the stock steering. Works fine though when driving

Glen there's a new comical Buggy out the avante and it's the first one of those that is 4-wheel drive they also have a new Karmann Ghia on the m chassis you might be interested in the they have a brand new 8x4semi and the Terra scorcher is being rered.

that rear shock angle is shockingly terrible and does it have the really ropey front handling probs as the original bull?????????? where the wheels catch on the bumper under tight reversing out of a corner?????????????? either way should still be fun.

Yeah but you have a fighter buggy there I know that they very similar.
