I remember growing up in the 80's and going to the hobby company store just to drool, dream and wish that i would someday find it under the Christmas tree. Needless to say, it never happened☹️
I love the look of this one but the 650 dollar price is a bit much. I’d rather just turn a slash 2wd into something similar as it would be a lot cheaper.
Matteo, this is amazing video footage. Man I would love to see how you shoot this cameras used etc. Let me know if you have such a video. Very well done!
Out of the 100's of Scorchers I built in the early days, I was never asked to paint one 'box top', and seeing one that is, makes a nice change. Excellent video as always, sir.
Your video's are the best rc videos! Just bought a 1987 clod!! Next wil be a sand scorcher or mayby a rally beetle? Idk yet... wich tamiya you suggest for off-road?
I had one as a kid ... lost interest wehn I became interested in girls. Many years later I was heavily into 1:8 nitro 4WD offroad racing, but only for four years.
Such a well put together video that Sand Scorcher is cool. Really enjoy the 2WD action donuts and the turns with the rooster tail shooting up!! Just amazing. Well Done.✌
Mateo, you make some of the best RC action movies around! I thoroughly enjoyed this on in particular. Keep them coming. I just re-started my RC hobby. Had not done anything RC for about 25 years. Just bought an Avante 2011 re release and watched you build yous on your channel THANKS!!
Dude! Your camera work is exceptional! I am wondering do you use a 'B' car with attached camera for the close ups and tracking shots or do you run slowly behind your Scorcher? And if I may ask, what camera did you use for the 'in car' shot?
+Names Demean Us Both Thanks for your compliments! I use a stick with the camera on it and run behind the car. For the onboard shot I used a GoPro Hero
My first rc was a super hornet back in 91or 93 , I'm a hpi savage fan but and kit savage only . But I want this . And I don't know why , not a fan of bugs
Man, I might of commented before on this video but I don't get enough of it but the camera work is awesome awesome awesome!! I hope you make more videos like this. Take care buddy, bye.
Pure Class!!! awesome video matteo...you just get better and better at this Tamiya would be so proud!! great great video, love the in car shots and the tune is great too...well done
Thank you! I use a Carson 2700mAh Hump Pack battery. Specifically designed for the Tamiya Super Champ (Rough Rider) and Sand Scorcher etc using the sealed radio box.
This looks great! May I ask how you got that shot which begins at 0:27, where the Scorcher follows the camera? I´ve tried to do this with a rear-facing camera on another car but it always looks terrible : (
Wow! Once again I'm mesmerized by the quality of your vids, someday I hope you wil share with yours fans a video of how you create this magic on your vids from start to finish, with another camera filming you making your magic. Your becoming an rc legend in my book, thanks again.
