Absolutely glorious video and soundtrack. This will have to tide me over for a few years more, until I've got the spare money, bench space, technical and driving chops, a few free weekends at the park or beach reserve, the list goes on... but in the meantime thank you OP for sharing the joy!
I just got one as a present today. I bought a friend a blackfoot. He bought me the sand scorcher😀 i love these cars. It feels like childhood, so many memories
Haven‘t finished my Sand Scorcher yet. But i went to work on it again in the last couple of days. The chassis is finished since a long time. Now the body… i want to take it slow and really enjoy the building. What a great rc car to build. Great relief from stress, slows me down takes me back in time when things needed patience. Many details, planning and decisions to make. Very enjoyable video thanks again
My favourite sand scorcher video so far! I've quite a collection myself as I had one when I was a kid, best one they ever did in my opinion, I love the music too, it was on a film called caddyshack in the 80s 👍👍
You're aware that the front suspension is really based exactly like the beetle of that era the srb chassis's stock can take 9.5brushless the gear box stock can handle it. Love all srb chassises wish I could afford them.
Awesome video! It would be insane to put a servo on the drivers head so he could look out the window at the camera, look forward then gas it! Or he could be looking where he was about to go!
the sand scorcher is a very nice scaler but not my first choice to bash with 😉 i would prefer a traxxas bandit or slash 2wd. they are not that cool but durable 👍
@@rcadventuresunlimited I have understood why the Scorcher is so damned expensive. I have thought of putting a body on my cheap FTX buggy and jacking it up with big wheels etc
@@rcadventuresunlimited Very cool and thanks. A brushless setup will be awesome for sure! Many years ago I used coilover shocks to replace the torsion bars and stock shocks, it completely changed how it handled and drove so much better over rough terrain.
