What a sweet basic build! Think this should be a fun little runner and it being 2wd ,even funner! You got great deals on the electronics which makes this “ohh so worth it! “ take care Brent ! Looking forward to seeing this one sweeping up dirt piles!👊🏼🤙🏽💥💥💥

I love the paint and those stickers seem like they would go well with many colors. It is a quick and fun little build with not much there to get you in trouble or confused at all. Should be fun out in the sand!

Love that orange on the Viper. Looks perfect against the decals (better than box art!!) Looks such a great buggy and I regret not getting one back last year. Certainly on the list for 2022 👍🏻🙌🏻

The orange works well with the decals. They are a good starter kit for someone to get into Tamiya.

That's a cool Tamiya-Arrma-Traxxas-Kyosho buggy, ha ha! Came out nice with the orange, even if the paint was difficult to work with. I'm a big fan of the DT-02, but so far haven't got one yet, hopefully maybe this year. I'll definitely be looking out for your run video!

The orange paint should look amazing against sand or reddish dirt duri8"golden hour" before sunset - and that motor and the ESC were bargains!

Nice build man, have you ever tried using Power Punch or Lucas Oil additive in your differentials? I've done that before it's super sticky.

Oh man the sand viper has all the bells and whistles bro adjustable turn buckles steel dog bones oil shocks bearings in the kit plus a lipo rated esc i think its one of the best Tamiyas for the money if you ever pick one up you'll love it thanks for watching

Those Arrma ESC's run 3s well..The stinger should handle 3s..20t 550 right? Just gtta keep eye on temps

20t 540 ill have to give it a try its a bit slower than I was going for after uste it might go brushless it should handle it fine the dt02 is a awesome chassis

@@AdventureTimeRC Yea 540 needs to be about 25t and up for 3s.,.Oh wait use the stock Imex samurai motor..I have the same Arrma ESC and the Imex motor in my DT03..3s brushed all day and night..It's called a VRX Turbo speed 19t 550..The DT03 and DT02 have the same transmission if I'm not mistaken

Honestly I don’t like the DT-02 but that’s probably because I started with a DT-03. The DT-02 just has that really stupid front suspension that. It only breaks super-easy and bottoms out on the tower itself, but t-when you land a jump, the toe of the front wheels change for the worse on landing. Push that front suspension down and see.
