How badass would it be if we figured out how to make black smoke. And put a blower on the smoke box driven off the ESC. So the trucks and trains could roll coal like in reality. See I own a diesel pickup. 88 F 250 4×4 7.3l IDI 5speed manual with 4;10 gears and 33×11.50 mud tires. Now with those gears it'll only do maybe 70 mph and the governor kicks in. It's also straight piped and stacked. So between 65 and 70 it'll blow thick plumes of ancient liquid carbon 60' straight up in the air before it disipates and drops back down to the earth. Man that is the coolest. I would love to see the RC trucks do the same. Maybe wishful dreaming on my part. But I will look in to it and get it back 🔙

You should put a micro engine inside the exhaust so it will evacuate the smoke more quickly as the main engine accelerates

Nice done! I saw you did use a separate battery to power it up. Is your driving battery a nimh and your battery to operate it a lipo? I ordered a smokekit like this, and i am driving with a nimh in my Tamiya 1/14 truck, so i wonder if i can power it separate.
