Hi, thank you for your great comment, much appreciated! And glad you enjoy :-) To your Q: Not sure if I understood, but I've built/restored my collection over a period of about 7 years. I've got some runners beside the shelf queens though, and for the vids I sometimes use shelf queen bodies....I almost operate these vintage only for filming, and also did so over a reasonable period of time, depending on "inspiration" or just for "seek of fun". Yes, my scope for my collection was off-road from beginning until mid-80ies - pretty much youth time :-) All the best!

@@Tamor70 yep, that's what I meant - if I watch your videos I get the impression that there are 20+ mint tamiya cars up and running continously :-) while I have a hard time keeping my 2 WWs in shape. But what you say makes sense...keep up the great work!

True, fun for sure ! :-) And true, bodies sometimes don't really fit with the chassis. As well, the Lancia is not ideal (btw, Tamiya has another, better edition of it) or check as well the Audi Quattro Rally (Kit# 58036, rel. year 1983) though... but in the end, they're are still desirable :-) !!! Hi there and thanks for your comment/question. That's now 6 years ago, and can't tell you 100%. I've checked on Pictures I've made during the built, and it is definitely not TS-8, but pretty sure I used TS-39 (Mica Red)...this is even a bit a darker red though...hope you you're gonna be satisfied with your final choice and have fun in building....:-) best regards

Tamor70 I’m actually restoring a Tamiya Lancia 037 and have the experience of this on my RU-vid channel it’s been tough to source the parts but it’ getting there expensively 👍
