The trucks look great out there doing exactly what clods do best! Bumbling and bouncing about and making you smile the whole time!! I am sure you two had a ball with them out int he sand pit!

In fact, the video very much reminds me of the Tamiya promotional video with the two clods from back in the day! Ouyeah, this is a lot of fun, just the intro already put a smile on my face! Seeing these two monsters finally together, really nice, and a good idea to hire in Dom to help with the camera work. Hiya Rob!!!!! Going back over 30 plus years now, these trucks still have something special about them. True, they are clunky, they rattle, they ain't fast and the steering is lazy, What's not to like?? But, I hear nothing but laughs and I'm sure it was ear to ear grins (said the same thing to Mark). Hope Dom had a good time with one (I'm sure he likes them). I'm happy I have a big mouth!!! ATB my friend and hope you put the RR pinions in it.

Oh yeah there are great fun, I wouldn't like to try and drive it around a track though😊 I will do at some point but might as well wear out the alloy one first🤣😉 I'm also thinking of putting some CVA shocks on found 8 from JK-RC for 27.99. Not for performance but hopefully stop some of the clunking hehe. Many thanks and same to you and yours dude
@@robbrennanrc I actually have the optional CVA shocks (yup, yellow in color) from the 80's on my Blue Super Clod, it still rattles.. Plus you'll still have to use the rubber tubes on the shafts, travel is limited cause of the servo saver and steering rods on the axles. However, any bit of dampening is always a plus... Miles of smiles per second mate.. Check those pinions soon, LOL... ATB again my friend.
@@robbrennanrc Hey Rob..... I used those JK RC shocks on my vintage clod. They are very good quality, look great and have threaded adjustment which is their main plus point, meaning you can very easily adjust the spring compression from softer to firmer. But, as Uncle Bob rightly pointed out, they still rattle/clatter about..... but hey, that's part of the character of these rigs right?! 😉 👍 👍 👍 👍

You and me both Rob,but I’m still like a kid lol,almost died couple of times few years ago but was to stubborn to allow it to happen😄now I’m back still playing games on Xbox and giving youngsters run for there money in forza and destiny etc,toying with first rc in donkeys years aswell,I think at 60 you sometimes start mentally to go backwards in years and become a kid again😂
