That 21 turn...😮😋Once I turned the video speed up by x1.75 the tt-02 did catch some speed 😛 . But the 15t gonna light a fire under that chassis - I had a HPI 15t in mine, and it was quick! Good luck 👍😎

Yeah, buddy, good to see you took the bait too for Poor Boys RC's challenge... I am also silly enough to play along on this game... I'm bummed about the Holmes motor... First seeing Rob Brennan had some slow ones in his Clod, and now you also... I got two of those 21T and they are insanely fast, as I experience them... I hope you get the issue fixed, and of course just looking forward to your next increment on the TT-02 speed... It'll be a ton of fun!

Need to get the town down there and do some landscaping, all the bush would throw me off, over hanging on the pathway. When some & loose some buddy, that's the game, but great speeds so far however, I feel something is off. ATB Dude!!!

Hi Craig, interesting stuff, dude! I like your idea about a "category" for brushed/NiMh, I just might just give that a go too! at least there will be two of us in the "slower" category as the top boys on brushless 3 and 4s will be hitting silly speeds! My TT02 did 21mph with that Eco Thrust, I reckon you can get it up there with a little tweaking! Looking forward to E4!!! 😜😜👍👍

I will be doing a build for the speed challenge as well. I feel like this is going to be easier than the CW01 challenge last year but I am probably wrong! I feel like there may be some lightning fast cars out there. I'll have fine with it and see what happens! I need to find a proper body for a good fast car and then start ordering some bits and pieces here and there. Good luck with yours and I will be looking forward to the different trials!

Just for shits and giggles. If you can’t break 18 mph with these motors,would you consider trying a WLtoys 540 motor? Or maybe a 550 long can motor? I feel like the torque tuned will get you to 20mph, but if not, the ones I mentioned should. Good luck Craig! I think 30mph is a good speed to reach for. Lots of trials on the way! Hi there Craig, a nice speed challenge. If it’s any help, for every 10km it’s approx 6miles (therefore the same is applied to speed of kph to mph..😊😊. The HW1060 are normally very dependable, I believe this is a throttle and brake calibration that can be performed, to ensure you’re getting full throttle. It could also be your NiMh pack that gives a slower return, the more runs performed, as the power delivery is very different to LiPo’s 😊 but looking forward to the RZ motor test. Great stuff bud, oh put some ZX1 Micro oil on the motor metal bearings at each end, 😊😊best wishes 😊😊

Quite surprising that the 21t motors were slower than the 23t motor. In theory, they should have been quicker but the Core RC 15t will put a smile on your face, that's for sure😂

Can you go a lot taller with the gearing in that thing? I ran a well used 15 turn motor in my Raider and it got up to 28 mph with little effort (I never maxed out the gearing before I went brushless). I could have got it up to 30 mph for sure on that motor. I would think that TT02 should be pretty quick with taller gearing.

If reverse is not working right, you may need to reverse channel 2 and swap leads on the motor.

If it is possible within the rules of the challenge, upgrade the steering. The TT-02 standard steering is the opposite of precise... there is too much play in the plastic balls. If you want to use this small walkway for your runs you gonna need that. Also check the servosaver. Mine kept on sticking which resulted in everything but a predictable steering.

Cool video buddy! RZ Is a very perky motor, my money would be on a substantial improvement over all of these so far. Also worth noting- I found a lot of my many well used NIMH packs were really under performing! I've recently been dabbling in the dark side, and have definitely seen a performance /speed incentive to running 2s lippo's. They are also lighter which helps on a speed test. I'm fully understanding why people are put off of Lippo's ( complicated charge/storage settings, burning your house down etc)..... so would you have any rc mates locally that could potentially lend you a few fully charged ones just for this challenge? Just been working on ours tonight..... this is way out of my vintage comfort zone! 🤣 Good luck mate. 👍 👍 👍 👍
