Absolutely insane. I've never seen anything like this before. The way you tap the threads is contrary to everything I've learned. But... it works and it looks good. Thank you for this video. You got me subscribed when you drilled and threaded the chassis brace really clean work and a Tamiya kit is a kit you build and 💯 percent a huge part of our hobby 👍 . I know some RTR cars are such high spec and really do the job but I’m an 80’s man and luv the build as you get to know your car aswell 👍 😎
I have a plasma edge 2 similarly built. But I went with Ball Diffs early on. Then, while it took like 6 months to finally get them, I put some metal DF-02 diffs (parts bag A iirc) in them, with the plastic tt01 plastic housings, then went from the stock Torque Tuned (put that motor in my kid’s redcat crawler) to a Super Stock BZ. I also recently threw in a DBox-2 (gyro w/ steering priority) as well a wireless receiver to add it to my NB4. This thing rockets, straight as an arrow out of drifts now.
Great video. I have just bought a Plasma Edge with the same idea. A cool looking rig with some serious upgrades will be awesome. I've almost got everything, but the lower chassis brace. Where did you get yours from?

They were from RCJAZ hong Kong where 90% of my parts came from in one massive order. Took a week for them to ship it and then 10 days to arrive in the UK 👍
