Tamiya TT02B Plasma Edge II First Impressions! 

I just got a TT02BR, it's a great little machine. really well designed with some nice upgrades. The chassis is sturdy and holds it all together so well. I love Tamiya kit, always a pleasure to build.

The Grasshopper was $119 bucks in 80's money. This can be had for about $135 in today's money, has oil dampers, 4wd, and is notably more durable. Tamiya needed this to remain competitive in todays market. It should be a good seller for them.

I have this one, the exact same version, and it's really awesome. I also have a classic Grasshopper, which I feel is more of a basher, the TT02B has a lot more offroad potential. Being 4WD, it glides over terrain with ease. Although the ride height could be a bit better, it is to be expected that the ride height has it's limits. Overall, an awesome buggy, really a bang for the buck! (Oh - and the on-road capabilities of this one are phenomenal) Also - a Great VIdeo! Keep it up!

TBH as much as I like my gun metal plasma edge II , my gravel hound has taken way more and comes with a lot of hop ups straight out the box.. I run both on 3s and a 5200kv 540 brushless combo
