My personal favorite is IAD. (I may be bias because it's the closest airport to me but whatever lol) TPA is wayyy up there though

It is definitely a very convenient airport because of its International connections and also big enough for the daily air traffic that flows though. Great video 👍

This airport has changed dramatically over the past 7 years, especially within the last five years. I know all about the changes, because I've worked at the airport (Airside A) as a ramper and aircraft cabin cleaner for over 20 years.

@@richardmorris7063 Wow, that's cool. I worked for a company called DGS (Delta Global Services), but another company bought them out a few years ago, called Unify (maybe spelled Unifi). Anyhow, I quit the company about a year and a half ago. Who knows, we have probably seen each other numerous times at the airport. What company did or do you work for, if you don't mind me asking? My name is Bobby Knight.

@@bobby1970 I was part of the cleaning crew from 2011-2014.Mostly waxing floors, those hours killed me..Was a stopgap for a few yrs.I don't even remember the co.name but went in for 10 & got off after 7am.

Beautiful airport and flows so smoothly. Going from plane to outside is so smooth its like walking through a shopping mall. Meanwhile back in Toronto I have to hike a couple miles, get interrogated by CIA, MI6, Gestapo and KGB (in that order) before I get to see sunlight.

It isn't that small, but it used to be. The airport has dramatically grown over the last 5 years or so. It gets bigger every year. Eventually, they will build another terminal with its own airside concourses, and a new tower. Maybe even another runway.

You go through a quick screening by an agent before getting onto the tram to the airside. They check your ID and ticket twice.

@@bobby1970 that must be a recent change because I had to show ID to get on the tram to airside when I flew out of there in December. That was done again at airside before the TSA screening once off the tram.
