the dumb part to this is if you have the money to buy 1200 FV ($27K) then honestly a $1000 hit isn't the end of the world. So not only was it unethical but to burn a resource like your shop for 800-1000$ when they were playing at the 25k level is truly stupid. seems like a stock/paper investor that got involved in the physical market.

I've been to dozens of LCS, and I've never seen the type of transparency that Vermillion demonstrates. You won't find a more honest and fair dealer in the country IMO.

Hey, the flake customer has to live with his own conscience. I would never welch on a deal. If one's word isn't any good, then what about them is? When I was in business I had a few losers back out on deals. But I soon grew to know who's word was better than a signed contract.

Honor. Such an important word. Customers that play in the stacking game need to understand the two-way street. The TRUE cost for that dishonorable person is the burned bridge connecting to a possible long-term relationship with an up-and-up dealer with consistently UNBELIEVABLE pricing. All for a temporary reprieve. Bad life choice.

The joke will be on that man who didn't realize that silver goes down as well as up. Unless this time is different (and it rarely is) silver has only closed over $32 in two previous cycles and it went up substantially both times. Since you have one of the best premium ranges of any dealer I have seen, this guy is going to wish that he kept his deal and that he was still able to do business with you and Tim. You said gold pullback was “ no big deal. I bought 20 buffalos on Sunday night. I honored the price as gold pulled back $30 plus the next 3 days. Integrity needs to be on both sides of the “ coin” pun intended.

How about a brief comment or video on selling to you if you we are not in your local area. Is the price negotiated over the phone and then we send the material in, or do we send the material in and once received and inspected the price is negotiated?

You are correct that banks will side with customer's sometimes fraudulent claims. Banks will take the money out of your account promptly well before their investigation is completed.

It's a shame that there are people out there with character deficits like that. Fortunately, I'm at a place in life where I'm able to make simple handshake agreements with people I've been working with for years. Reputation is a commodity that cannot be purchased however, and your reputation is well deserved and has earned referrals by me to others.

Hate that happened to ya'll but its good that you and other LCS you tube folks tell those stories to the public. It explains why dealers have to price and do things the way they do because dealers have to deal with aggravations like that. Also, it reminds people why everybody is not a bullion dealer.

A parallel to the wrist watch market comes to mind: your word is your bond, and if your willing to break it over what should be a discretionary investment of a few hundred dollars, this is no place for you. Are you able to ‘change your mind’ when you buy or sell a stock or other securities?

I agree, buyer/seller agree on a price, should have honored it. Great talking with Tim and Brian when I order, I get my stuff in a timely manner. My local LCS more expensive than Brian’s especially 90%, but I still buy a few to support. I mostly buy from Brian, can’t beat the price and honesty. Have good memorial weekend, I also vote for fishing on Monday sounds relaxing 🙂

Everyone that has bought metals has a time where it tanks in the day or weeks after. You just need to go with the punches. That is also why you split up a large purchase and buy in traunches not all at once.

Quite a shame. Sounds like he may have been new jumping on the band-wagon probably watched videos saying silver was about to go to $50, or recently I wrote in a comment section of a video advising caution as the video is projecting $350/oz soon, and all the replies were calling me out as a fool, silver was definitely right about to launch... I hate hearing this, because people like you with your honesty and fairness in pricing gives me the confidence to own metals because to be honest, I still am nervous about what will happen when time comes I need to sell.

Some people don't have integrity. I am sure if the price went up, they wouldn't ask you to increase the price. In my opinion, these people should have red flags so others will know not to do business with them as well.
