indeed I lived off of 22nd st & fowler myself & off of 15 & fletcher even up around 142nd st & once lived down off hillsborough & 22nd back in the early 80s - seen more problems in the old trailer parks off nebraska ave than anywhere myself
@Turn ya Gangsta Down Tampa has the 2nd highest murder rate and 2nd highest number of black people after Jacksonville so Tampa definitely isn’t that nice. Literally a hood in every pocket North South East West Central city. Literally everywhere.

Put up a wall, they will climb over it, put a cop with a gun in there, they will act like a cop and create their own laws....what can you do? haul them off to someone else's community?
Any neighborhood with people loitering in large groups is one to avoid. Any neighborhood with boarded storefronts with memorials out front is one to avoid. Any neighborhood with stray dogs is one to avoid.
I'm from Tampa Bay. I lived in both Tampa and St.Pete. Hood wise? South St.Pete is way more dangerous than Tampa, especially in the 90s. St.Pete got gentrified faster than Tampa. St.Pete had more projects and more killings. St.Pete had a race riot in 1996 after a cop killed a black man. South St.Pete was a war zone. notorious St.Pete projects and hoods: Jordan Park, Bethel Heights, Harbordale;etc. But both Cities are home to me. St.Pete has the largest MLK parade and after parties in the state of FL, look it up on youtube...cars, girls, food, music. Shout out to 727/813....the whole Tampa Bay area. Peace!
Hello hello, friend Charlie!! I'm following this Hurricane Ian on the Weather Channel. Ian is striking where I used to live (Highland Cty) and work (Hardee Cty). They just posted a tornado warning in both those counties. I haven't set foot in FL since my dad died 8 years ago, and that's only because I HAD to go down there to handle his affairs. Nonetheless, my heart goes out to all those residents who live in those areas and beyond. I'm very worried and sad for them. 😔😔😔
I’m here in the Ybor section of Tampa rn all boarded up for the hurricane. This was a good time to post this in terms of marketing. You should go to st Pete 1 day, very gentrified but they got some hoods. Also around Busch garden usf area they got some hoods more up north
I'm from Cleveland originally but I also grew up in Tampa Bay area a nice part of my life..shout out all my West Tampa niggas, Clearwater, Tarpon, Pinellas Park and Southside St.pete and everyone else I grew up with down there. I'm glad he showing Tampa so people can see whst it's like.

Just getting started and I currently live in Tampa. I have lived off Columbus near Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way(which some say is the hood)...Busch and 22nd(most definitely the hood) and now the Bougie side of town off Dale Mabry. But...if you don't roll down Nebraska Avenue at night, you missed it. Nebraska Avenue at night ain't for the faint of heart.

The main bad areas in Tampa are anything within 5 miles of USF, anything within 5 miles of Busch Gardens, Florida Ave neighborhoods, and Nebraska Ave neighborhoods. And they aren't even that bad for hood standards. They're not like Chicago or St Louis hoods where you're basically guaranteed to get robbed (or worse).

I know ! I was laughing, especially at a comment a few below yours about how he was getting some dirty looks.. I am sure he got dirty looks because he was being shady! I live in this neighborhood, it’s actually not ghetto I rarely hear gunshots or police sirens Blair. Coming from the north side of Minneapolis I was used to the sound of automatic gun fire every night plus bullet holes in your car and house from stray bullets. Tampa is for the most part safe.

I moved here from NY, i use to cop from the PJs, or delivery, down here its a shitty hotel next to Busch Gardens, also in NY sometimes you have to wait. Tampa be trapping 24hour never a wait or dry.😂

University square (Locally known as suitcase city for the amount of evictions) has dramatically improved since the 80s-90s. The homicide and burglary rate has dropped like 75% and the outskirts are continually being gentrified.

Somebody needs to show the Drugged out white Lady stuck off heroin holding her baby's hand outside of the Publix...or the countless amount of White Homeless people i have to step over to get to my destination...or the white dude high off his mind jigging on the sidewalk with no shirt or shoes on...NO music playing ! Its sad
in Tampa you have to drive on the toll road to keep from being approached by psychos holding up will work for food signs when you get off the highway. It's total BS
I’m speaking from living here in Tampa…Charlie my man, there are quite a few hoods that you didn’t cut thru. Dirty looking doesn’t always equal dangerous. Good footage though.
It's not my intention to show every hood in any city in one video. The video would have to be an hour or so long. Also this channel is visual, if somebody say an area is bad and it looks nice, it likely won't get a lot of views pon this channel.
