That Tandy 1400LT is awesome! I had no idea about that model of Tandy and the card you came up with is pretty sweet! Nicely done!

Fantastic Video...Much appreciated. I just got a TexElec card and am having a tough time. I used VirtualBox to format a 512MB CF card with MS-DOS 5.0. The card is not recognized by my system. Any help you could give me on how to get the card setup properly would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott

Does the cf card appear in the XTIDE bios during boot ? If so you should ready boot with a floppy , run fdisk and clear the partition list on the cf card, then create a partition and make it active, reboot and then boot of floppy again and format c: Then you can take it to your main pc with bbox and copy the system across. Often creating patitions on modern pcs, make the partition map incompatible with old xt/at computers. Hope that helps.

Thanks...When I have the card inserted and boot without a floppy, nothing happens. I'll try booting by floppy and running FDISK to see if it finds the CF card.

I got my hands on a Tandy 1400HD the other week. It boots but the internal HD is dead. Saw this project on your GitHub - do you know of anyone making/selling the hardware?
