That is one thing I miss in Trainz, realistic derailments. I use to have an old train simulator that when you crashed or derailed they would actually show the cars react just like a real derailment. I wish Trainz would to that too.
I agree! As Trainz evolved I really was always wanting more and more HD content and things that newer versions promised and fulfilled. The thing we really lost that I took for granted was the non-lagginess and the fun derailments!
t it would have to have been Microsoft train simulator - the derailments are quite realistic and actually impressive with regard to the physics modelling - have the front of the consist derail/crash - all the rest of train is still moving and they will be an accordion effect that makes its way down the whole train
I like the original Trainz better than TANE. The derailments from Trainz are so unrealistic and goofy! (I think it's funny!) But the derailments from TANE just freeze. (Which I hate!)
I have felt like Auran has been going backwards in a lot of areas with this game.... I feel like every year they remove a feature or something the detracts from what we want
8877Railfan I would have tested it but suddenly after TANE was released my trainz12 stopped working functionally, it would take 30 minutes to open a new window anytime I tried to do something
And this is why I still stick with Trainz Simulator 12 because of the derailments being intact by jumping off the track. TANE onward just took all of that away! >:/
Hey everyone I’m the owner of Lenin the channel though I can no longer get that account back anymore though I do have an internet that can actually help me get this account me since he’s a computer wizard
Most people say it’s because if derailments were allowed and switched could be split; multiplayer wouldn’t work because of trolls, but even so-I don’t understand why they have a realism bar for derailments if the realest one is not even close to real!!
TANE Did not include the "Derailments" because there would be a fight between Train simulator 2017 (Not Trainz) and TANE over the REALISTIC Derailments.
You can do the switch test in TANE by having the switch set against your train and then reversing a bit of the train go over the switch. Then accelerate forward.
Trainz 2004-2012: Basic graphic, basic physics engine, Lots of trains and routes to play with1 Trains TANE + 2019: Dude buy dlc's and enjoy our graphics becasue this game doesnt have physics!
I hope they add derailments back in Trainz RS 2019 because lack of realistic derailments is inexcusable. For future Trainz games, they should have were if a train derails, it will suffer visible damage.
Mike Pericolosi depending on your version of windows it should be preinstalled if you have Windows 8 or Windows 10 you will have to install the windows live essentials pack from Microsoft
TrainZ 2009/10 port zyd the over pass going to the iron works switch shared by the locals sent 3/4 of the entire consist loco first well into the harbor. was epic! my nephew laughed so hard he started to cough.
the only things that i don't like about trainz a new era is 1. it does not have a railyard and 2. the crashes are not realistic but i do like trainz a new era very much
Actually, it doesn’t. The realism is based solely upon factors such as speed and track quality causing a derailment. Because of multiplayer, there is no way to cause actual classic derailments in TANE
Do keep in mind, the game doesn't revolve around the crashes, it's meant to simulate realistic train operations. Take your preference, but that should be considered.
TheLOKRailfan I Agree. This video was not meant to make or break the game based on the one feature. This video was purely intended to be a comparison of the one feature that exists in both games and how they stacked up. While I feel that TANE is an overall better game with more features, I love being able to split the trains or have them scurry away when they leave the rails.
