Didn't she go right after Tamyra sang "And I'm Tellin You I'm Not Going"??? Poor thing, she didn't stand a chance...But I've seen some of her more recents performances, and she's actually amazing! I guess she just needed some more time to grow into that beautiful voice of hers.
I just heard her sing and play guitar a few hours ago at an audition... She has an amazing voice, stage personality and presence. What is the point of posting negative comments on youtube? Try not to judge people unless they ask for your feedback. Musicians and artists all have their stronger and weaker moments, but we're all on this journey to get better... So who cares if you make some mistakes, its all about learning from those mistakes. Why do you want to be the jerk that points out mistakes in everyone else? Don't be that person. Hold yourself to a higher standard.
That's an impressive assumption, that I'm her. Try again... I'm not saying she didn't screw up. I just think it's unfortunate that there are so many thoughtless people eager to judge someone based on 1 minute of video taken 6 years ago. When was the last time YOU beat out MILLIONS of people to make it into the top 30 of a national singing competition?
You can tell she can sing but she was so off key during the whole thing. If it's true that they changed the key the last minute to a different one than the one she had practiced the song; then it was a really mean thing what they did to her...
she has a nice voice is just that this was outta tune i heard that she was told that they were gonna play the song in a different tune right before her act so basically they screwed her over(thats what i heard) her false seto sounds amazing(i know its only guys that have false seto but idk what to call it for girls)
I'm very close to Tanesha, and I can tell you she was screwed. The producers wanted her off the show, so they informed her just before show time she'd be singing the song in a different key than she'd been rehearsing; of course she's not going to do well. The fact they haven't released her pasadena performance tells me they don't want people to see her real talent. She has the most amazing voice I've ever heard in person.
Wow, glad to see that Tanesha has come so far since this... I saw her in Hair on Broadway last night and she was AMAZING! She had more control over her voice last night for sure. It was a masterclass in how to sing with every part of your range, quite frankly.
Its possible she was very good back than as well. I think the big issue here was she just tried to make the song too complex/way oversung it. She was in the top 16 group in Hollywood round so my guess is she was pretty solid up until than
Saw Tanesha in BowieVision in Seattle tonight. She has grown into such an INCREDIBLE PERFORMER. The audience lost their mind, as did I. I felt honored to see her perform. It was only her 4th performance with them (her first three being earlier that night, and two the day prior), and she only had two rehearsals with them before ROCKING THE STAGE like they had been working together for years. She was incredible, and I can’t wait to see her again!!
