Sa Bom Nim Michael Tabone demonstrates practical applications from the Haidong Gumdo (Korean Sword) forms Ssang Soo Gum Bup Yuk Bun and Ssang Soo Gum Bup Chil Bun.
Sa Bom Nim Michael Tabone is currently a 4th dan. He is a member of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association.

i like how they show the practicality of the sword by using the same techniques with an umbrella

personally, I'm not a big fan of Korean sword fighting.. however, I gotta honestly say this doods sword swings are not only fast, they have a purpose. His swings are not wasted motions. +20 cool points

Was it considered too impractical to show the sword vs. sword application with the techniques in Yuk Bon and Chil Bon?

I don't understand all this Japan/Korea argument here. These are Americans, right? I understand that the history of Japan and Korea has left scars-- but where is the respect in this discussion? History and tradition shouldn't blind anyone to discussing the merits of what is on display here.

This event is the fake which imitated a Japanese sword. A Japanese sword is a Japanese soul. >Dear Korean Please do not steal Japanese culture & soul. 日本の魂である日本刀をさも韓国文化のように振舞うのはやめていただきたい。
