Second track is very reminiscent of 'Zeit'& the last track is from 'Zeit'. An album that I for a long time had a hard time getting into but now appreciate. I've been listening to TD since the mid 1970's... 'Ricochet' & Rubycon' are my favourite albums I think. But I like all of those early albums. I'm just sad I never got to see them perform live in their heyday.
Yes...a fantastic recording, contains futuristic tunes that blowing your mind off...very atmosopheric and hypnotic...i love their old stuff madly and admit that this Klangwald life album is interesting...good quality for such an old event, still sounds remarkable and advanced, incredible for a from a radio station recorded gig ! Thanks for posting this...its a real gift for all the fans ;)
For what it's worth, here's all the Klangwald stuff I have. As you can see, tracks 2, 3 and 5 are, basically, equal to what you've got here. I haven't yet checked them to see if they're the same but, it looks like tracks 4 & 5 equal out to within 1 second of track 1 so, maybe those aren't needed. @@JuanCarlos_._._ Part came from a TD boxed set I bought, part I probably recorded from online and part I got from a friend of mine that had a bigger TD collection than me about 10 years ago. At the moment, it'd take 20 days and 7 hours to play mine all the way through, non-stop. I stopped collecting new stuff after Edgar died. I only go to one album past his death as an example of how they sound after he died. Without him or any of the original early members, it's just not TD anymore, even though the music might be better than the later TD stuff. Besides, I've already got over 62,000 records so, I kinda have to draw the line somewhere.
I just listened to them and found my first two "Klangwald" parts are the first 1:18:09 of this recordings. I'm still trying to find out what the last 17:00 of yours is. I can't find the 2 "Cologne" parts or or the "Klang College" bit but, I also just ran a search on all of my hard drives to try to find them. So far, the first of my five tracks has nothing to do with yours except that it was recorded at the same point in time.
