I don't know if I'm right, but I've made Rapunzel wigs in the past. The really long one is done by using a super long wig, and buying like... 15 long hair wefts and attaching them from top to bottom (you can see them attached every 3 feet where it looks like it's hair tied). The braided one isn't easy. I used 3 things of panty hose stuffed with cotton batting, fish wired tbem onto the wig, wrapped long wefts around the panty house, braided It, hot glued the hair on place and stuck flowers in the parts that didn't cover with hair

The costume is well done, except one thing: she is wearing socks/pantyhose, and sometimes even shoes. Actually, Rapunzel is supposed to be barefoot all time.
