I have danced a good bit of 'latin american tango' and never seen or experienced 'groin grinding'. The clip is very interesting. Partner dancing gives people a time and place to be intimite beyond what is generally permitted in polite society. At a dance it is permissible, even encouraged, to engage in a prolonged embrace with multiple strangers. Try that somewhere else and you may well get yourself into serious trouble.
The tango in Argentina is intrinsically sad. I can't think of one that is upbeat. The tango is for the lonely hearts that we all have inside our chests on and off in our lives. The Finnish seem to have more loneliness than others, but we all have it. They are lucky they discovered Tango. Many cultures don't know it and therefore don't know about its great ability to allow you to relieve old pains in our souls. Tango is therapeutic, better than a Psychologist
Just Finns. I’m not really sure but they were going through a depression at that time so it could have something do to with that but also they didn’t have very many bars or night clubs so kids were probably doing their own thing back in those days.
This has nothing to do with the Finns . They are some of the most friendly people I have encountered in some 50 countries I have traveled to. I am convinced that they will love for everyone to perceive them this way. They are a very hardy people will endure and concur anything . You will probably not have heard of “ the white death “ but please do look him up.
The far away video footage is proof the so called trolling is not true. Cold weather make people more sad and introverted. It happens in the Andes, the Himalayas, in Russia and Nordic countries. My Norwegian ex was the same
