A beautiful video..... As usual Rudy is as gorgeous as ever!! His looks were and still are mesmorising. Fanatastic expressive eyes. He had a flair for comedy as well as the smouldering Latin Lover types. If he had lived longer he would have reached amazing heights of fame. We were all sady robbed of this beautiful, sweet and by all accounts a lovely gentleman who was so modest about his talent and appearance. He was immaculate in his appearance and course he knew he was astonishingly handsome and Physically fit. But he didn't seem narcissistic by nature which is why he was so actractive!! G-D BLESS YOU RUDI VALENTINO YOU REALLY MADE AN IMPACT ON MANY PEOPLES LIVES. NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 But he didn't appear to have

Piekne. Serdeczne dzieki GraefinVonSalamanca. Dzieki tez za Czubczika w wykonaniu Rudolfa Valentino.Muzyka unikatowa , wykonanie takze. Cos niespotykanego.Perly. Raz jeszcze dziekuje.
I think the same. You can see this on the pictures of both. Natacha Rambova looks very cold and over-styled on all the pics, Pola looks relaxed, naturalness and very in love with Rudy.
Rudy writed of the back of the picture for Pola: "For my imperial yet imperially darling Polita, que j'aime plus que ma vie" The french words means: "who i love more than my life"
Even married with Natasha , he cheating multiple times, that cause her divorcing him, and he cheating to her best friend in the same bed, no matter I love Rudolph ❤
Who knows... But the french phrase maybe comes/quotes from "Camille" (in the film, Valentino/Armand says about Nazimova/Camille: "I love her more than life itself.") 😉
Personally I don't think Pola was the love of his life! From what I have read Natacha was. But she cheated on him with a cameraman ! This was when she was banned from the film set and he wouldn't give up the idea of having children. I think it sadly finished off the marriage. Who knows whst eould have been in the future? Pola got married six months after Rudy had passed. Doesn't sound to loyal to me. I would have hoped he could have met and eventually married a non Actress who really loved and cared and catered to him and wanted babies with him. It probably sould have given him the joy be so lonfed for! It is so sad.
The german lyrics are beautiful melancholics. The refrain - "ICH HAB AN DICH GEDACHT/als der Tango Notturno/zwischen Abend und Morgen/aus der Ferne erklang... means: I WAS THINKING ABOUT YOU/when the Tango Notturno/between the evening and the tomorrow/from the distance soundet...Im shure she was thinking of Rudy while singing.
Thank you very very much! I'm glad if you like it! You know i'm grazy about Rudy -he drives me wild! I think he loved Pola and she loved him - such a tragic lovestory, so sad he must die so young...I love him. His beauty wasn't only physical, he had a very beautiful soul...O Rudy!
Другое время,человечная прекрасная музыка.А ведь нелёгкие дни и тогда приходилось переживать--мягко говоря...Но ещё сохранялись понятия belle epoque,правда,последние...
Yes. Pola did, and she said in her later years after she had been married, that Rudy was the love of her life. I know Rudy never got over Natacha, but i think he liked Pola too.
@@migdaliasantiago5328 He loved Natasha, but they wanted different things in life. Also, just because someone doesn't mention something doesn't mean it isnt true.
I heard an interview , a columnist when an interview with him, He said only I love with a one woman but she don't love me . I think Pola is just a romance because he still sleep around, nothing serious, Pola mentioned they engaged but in the funeral , his closes friend they said he never mentioned any engaged with nobody, I read in bio
@@migdaliasantiago5328 THAT'S ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT RUDY VALENTINO DID START DATING MARION DAVIES BEFORE HE DIED!THEY SAID THAT RUDY VALENTINO WAS A LADIES KILLER!❤A LOVE 😍 GOD!
I noticed that too. I once saw a photo of Rudy and Natasha where he was looking at her with total adoration, but she was staring very coldly at the camera. There's another photo where he is signing something and she's sitting next to him and is also staring at the camera with lifeless eyes, like a statue. She made me feel uncomfortable.
Yes, I have seen those photos. When you see them together he is looking at her with totally adoration. She is never reciprocating. That has to tell you something. Rudy was a very passionate man. It does not seem as though Natacha was. So, there. The beginning of incompatibility. A very important part of a relationship. If there is little or no passion coming from one side, then what is the point of being together. Passion drives so much in a relationship. He had more than enough of that, but she did not seem to have it.
In later years she was diagnosed with schizophrenia maybe she had it back in the 20s she was probably spaced out sometime...just my thought 🤔@@auroratorres7873
Now i have seen it - wow! What a wife! I think Pola was the unique woman on the side of Rudy equal to Valentino - both look so happy together on all there pics. Natascha Rambova d'ont loved him in the same intensity like Rudy loved Natacha.
Danke vielmals!!!! Freut mich sehr! Film haben sie nie miteinander gemacht, einiges anderes wohl schon mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit.....:-D
NAUGHTY RUDY 0:58! Where is his hand...???!!! ;-D I wonder,Ii can't belive it, this picture (movie) is very old! May be in the 20's the people was more open-minded than in the decades later...
😅 I thought the same thing the first time I saw The four horsemen of the apocalypse: quite surprising, not so much because of the roaring 20's; but because the director Rex Ingram married the actress, Alice Terry, the same year of the film, 1921; which could have been somewhat awkward, although well resolved (it,s a great scene) 😉
The Production Code was not created until 1930. This code forbade all kinds of things, like it said people could not kiss for more than six seconds, etc. I think Rudy would have hated it. It was repressive and hypocritical. But I suppose before 1930, anything was OK! I love watching Rudy when he's Mr. Naughty Hands!
The greatest silent movie scene never filmed would have had Pola in the back of a nightclub in Nice, playing vampish, and Rudy walks in and sees her and his eyes smolder, and the word board says "Nobody puts Pola in a corner!" and then they dance to Tango Notturno very sensually while Betty, the piano player at the Orpheum movie house in Omaha tries to play the music effectively.
DEFINITELY WOW RUDY VALENTINO AND POLA NEGRI DOING A VERY SEXY STEAMY SEDUCTIVE MEAN ANIMAL LISTIC TALENTED PROFESSIONAL TANGO ACROSS THE DANCE FLOOR!WHILE THE PIANO 🎹PLAYER PLAYS "FRENADO'S HIDEAWAY"! OLE!
I always thought so too. She looks/sounds unfriendly. Even though Rudy reconciled with Natacha, and she wrote a book, i just don't think they were compatible enough or on the same wave length.
Notice: I have translated the song by myself, so my apologies if there's a mistake.
Rudy is naughty for sure. :) I think it seems in the 20s they were experimenting maybe on what films could do. Then, the censorship code came around 1930 or so. Not sure the exact year.
But by 1:29 she is singing:" I was thinking about HIM (!) " - not "you" - this very ununsual in this song, because i know the lyrics in all versions of the song only with "about you". When you listen here voice 1:29 you can hear the heartache and the deep sorrow.
But he found out she was two-timing him and they had an angry exchange over the phone just before he died...He basically said she couldn't treat HIM that way! On the train back to LA after he died, she apparently ate non-stop...and one of her "aides" was sent out to see if there were enough crowds when the train stopped to make it worthwhile to go out and "put on a show" of histrionics. She shortly thereafter married the aristocrat that she had been seeing!!
He loved two women dearly non of them came to his funeral, I think the very last our before death took him, he was unhappy because he knew time was up, and nobody came and that I dont think he understood, because he was from nature so sweet, kind and passioned. I know many fans gets angry with me when I say it, but I adored him to, but had he survived and went on with his famous life, I dont think he would had found the true love he so desperat wanted, because he wanted a family, and non of his women, even the two he loved wanted children. Rampova never came back, pola was not faithful, Rudy had a very bad connection to his family in Italy, what was waiting when he came out of hospital. It is also important to remember that Rudi was figthing syfilis after several years and he was blind of the left eye, he kept his body in a beautiful shape and condition, but it would not have lasted, because it is a very dangerous illness to live with, and it dont go away. He died young on top of his fame, and his legacy will last as long as this planet is moving, that have to be his reward from life in dead. R.I.P. Darling Rudy.....
@@amethyst205 They all did, Jean Acker and Natasja Rampova as well, Rudy was no saint around women , but I dont think he had other women while he was together with these women. His fans hate me for writing this, but Rudy was better of lieving this world while still young, because women had ruined his life, because he wanted a family with kids like the italian way, but these women wanted romance, money self promotion and passioned love. I would hate loved knowing him, to have a decent company, fun and a tango, and what else could come, but marriage, never. I am very sure that Rudy was a loving personality with a lot of dreams, but he did pick the wrong women. He adored Wilma Banky and Gloria Swanson, but non of them showed interest, no matter how wonderful Rudy was, we must face that not all women was captured by him. He got sifilis from a very young age because he visited a prostitute in Tarando, and the family send him to America, because of that serius ilness he had a blind left eye, and had he survived the operation, I think the sifilis would have cathed up with him later, maybe with more serius conditions, in the 1920ties they did not cure sifilis.....and it often hit the brain and that is the end....
Yes, but but mancy voices was getting huffy about this and accused her to get a PR-Gag, but i think too she was realy in love to Rudy. He still loved Natacha, and yeterday i read when he was just in hospital the first days they was exchanging love-telegramms aigain (Rudy + Nata)
@mayatatyana1 ^Yes . she was strange, but I read some seriously biographies about here and shure and 100% she wasn't Hitlers lover (I read also much biographies about Hitler). But before she knows Rudy she was Charlie Chaplin's lover, it was a bad realtionship and very excessive...Yes, it seems it was finished before Rudy's dead...But I think she alltought she loved him truly..
Rudy was a beautiful and sensitive man. He was not happy in his private life. Natacha left him; that must have been a very big blow for a man like Rudy. Think of it -- he was the world's leading and ladies man -- the first male sex symbol, adored by millions of women. How did Natacha leaving him look to the public, to his friends and family? He was totally broken. How could she cheat on him? From what I understand, he cheated on her too? I don't think Rudy had grown up yet. He was still very immature. Men don't mature early. Some never do. I feel that he would have settled down in later life and be true to his soul mate. Whom it would be we will never know. He wanted babies and I'm sure he would have had them with a compatible mate. Maybe an Italian beauty who understood where he was coming from -- via traditions and customs. In any event, none of that ever happened. All I want for Rudy is for him to continue resting in peace.
