The music is beautiful and the dancers are great . Rescue, originality and strength they have, although the styles are mixed. This last, is not important. Tangoloco is a serius group , a quintet.
They know how to dance well, technically they are pretty good...(of course, no emotions or mood- but it's no suprise given the music:))) But to call it tango? And best? It is bit missplaced. If someone wont to call it tango, than it is at best modern dance/ballet performance-with some inspiration by Tango Fantasia... After all, in the whole main part (where the "red" pair is dancing) there were at most 4 or so steps to be called tango steps.
Hmm... Really I thought that tango was all about the passion, the chemistry and the feel. These dancers are just... moving... Shame that such powerful dance as the tango is represented in such badly sounded and passionless form :(
WHATS WITH THE FOG? whats the point in it. it just makes it harder to see and appreciate their footwork. and this isnt tango music. by far not the "best tango dance"
I wouldn't say that this is the best Tango Dance I have seen better. I would have to say that it is best the more traditional it is. This is more like theatrical and the music was horrible.
Unfortunately, this is what tango has been reduced to around the world because a few "merchants" disguised as teachers and dancers sold it to the masses who don't know jack about tango. There is no feeling or connection just aerobics.Shame!
I agree, the music is awful, like 70s TV show music. Doesn't go with Tango at all. Also: Are they trying to be so Broadway-like with this floor show music?
