Derrick James his trainer told him since the 1st round to stay off the ropes... He wanted to hit him with a knockout counter and ended up getting knocked out
Nah homeboy you exactly right & I feel the same way. Im an active father in both my girls life since day 1 but we not celebrated the same as moms lol Don’t change what we do as men tho, we gon provide & support regardless. Salute to all the great Dads 🫡
Like I keep telling people Tank is a tactician if you watch tanks fights most of the time he “loses “ the first 3-4 rounds cause he’s observing his opponent. Next round he begins his assault to see which approach works then after that them bombs he got attached to his wrists get detonated 😂.. Tank is basically Mike Tyson with Floyd’s tactical mindset
His boxing IQ was up there and the mind games he played against Frank before the fights with the press conference and flinch in the fight you seen Frank react to everything he was biting on every feint tank was doing tank put mental pressure on him with that tiresome by itself on top Frank couldn’t stay off the ropes he didn’t know how to and got tire it was murder she wrote after that
@@assainscreed1234 you'd hold back too if a power puncher also great counter puncher was marching foward with smart effective pressure. It's honestly quite counterintuitive to sit down on punches with someone who can turn your lights out with one punch. Frank wasn't ending the engagements and sat on the ropes because he was tired. That was his downfall.
You made a good point. Devin gave Stevenson a contract and for whatever reason Stevenson didn’t like the contract. If the acontract is given to him, he has no choice but to take sometimes you gotta loose to win. Great point
Every fight ppl say that, “ they were doing great, tank got hit with some good shots, they were winning everyyyy 😴 🛌 “ it’s the same dmn story everytime😂😂😂
That’s not what happened with the weigh in fam. He actually gave Frank more time to make the weight. If they had the official weigh in the morning Frank would have came in over, had nothing to do with the contract. He had the rest of Friday, and all of Saturday leading up to the fight to replenish.
Happy Father’s Day…NOBODY is beating Tank at 135/140….Tank is a special talent….his Ring Iq, Power and speed are off the charts…..there’s levels….he’s going down as 1 of the all time greats
Let me say this. These guy like Ryan, Rolly, Devin, and even Frank are weight bullies. They all belong at 140 or higher. Tank is not stupid. They linger in the lower weight divisions where they don’t belong. Those rehydration clauses are there for a reason. Also, that rehydration clause wasn’t Tank’s decision. Which both fighters have to go through.
No brother. You're not the only one that feels like that. We go all out for the mothers on their day but they do very little to show us the same appreciation on a day like today. We are supposed to be the problem. Solvers we're not supposed to feel pain. Feel stressed. Just keep moving forward. That's the story they tell you
If he didn't bulk up and then tried to shave the pounds down, he would of been good, but he was so worried about Tank power that he bulked up in the beginning of camp and then tried to shave the pounds down, thats the 1st signs of disaster right there
Nice work bro💯. Tank was on a seek and destroy mission the whole fight. I don't see anyone around his weight with enough experience on the big stage and enough punch resistance to take those big shots from Tank. He has a great chance to retire undefeated. Shakur is a great fighter but once those shots start landing (and they will) how much can he really take?? Salute 🫡
Bra tank allowed him to get those first three rounds. It’s chess not checkers. Tank always analyze his opponent in the beginning and try to learn their reaction time.
That was a rumor, there was no rehydration clause, only IBF currently no more than 10 pounds night of the fight, and WBA starting rehydration rules soon
The weigh was at night & not in the morning like normally so they had less time to rehydrate before the fight. But that was for every fighter on the card
I didn’t hear anything about when they could rehydrate but I believe they couldn’t rehydrate over 14lbs. And that’s pretty much what Tanks rehydration clauses are. It’s smart because Tank is always the smaller guy.
Couldn't have said it any better. Tank walked him down. Martin was going to have to have the power to keep tank away or have the conditioning to go 12 rounds, and he had neither .
That's not tank that's wba rules and frank said so himself in the post fight press conference rehydration wasn't the issue he got caught with sneaky body shots thought-out the rounds and it gassed frank out ultimately causing him to drop hus hands and got caught
Also Frank ain’t had no power in his punches not putting his hip into none of those blows. He was trying to out box tank and tank was waiting for an opening to really hurt him. It was inevitable.
I agree with your take on the Tank vs Frank fight, but you left out those body shots Tank was hitting Frank with. Even in his corner he said they hurt. Those are the most effective way to slow your opponent down and weakened them at the same time.
Coach Calvin said he wouldn't put tank in that situation with shukar because he runs too much and if tank wins by decision instead of knockout the fans going to think tank lost the power
First it’s not tank that puts the stipulations in the contract, second gang, fighters need to stop doing that to their bodies to be weight bullies, fight at your weight class n stop tryna fight lil guys
Showed quite a bit of boxing knowledge. ✅️ Loma's best weight was 126-130 ✅️Haney does come in bigger then all of his opponents ✅️Tank's rehydration stipulations are corny and he really don't need it. I'd welcome more boxing talk for sure.
There was no stipulation or rematch clause. Frank fights at 135 , if he cant cut weight thats his fault. I think what youre referring to is the time of the weigh in. Frank had to hold that 135 weight longer because the time of the weigh in was different than usual . Tank is a natural 135 pounder hell he came under 135. Fight at your natural weight if you gone complain lol
First of all you totally forgot to mention those big body shots that was hittin his ass to get him tired...that's what his ass was runnin from.....but Hold on...... you didnt say nothing about Loma being 62 when yo boy Haney just robbed him. Now all of a sudden he's too old. Stop it! Tank is gonna go knock him out like yo boy couldnt do. Then he gone knock the hell out of Haney worse than pretty boy Garcia did. Then the big fight will be Shakur after that. Then what yaw gonna say? Then yaw gonna move the goal post to he needs to move up to 140.
He got tired tank put mental pressure on him too and when tank got him on the ropes the later rounds he stop clinching too because Frank was doing good in them early rounds when he was doing that
Frank lost the fight in rd. 1. You can’t box on the back foot without standing your ground sometimes. Once Frank slowed down he made a silent agreement to give it up, that’s why he got KOed on the ropes.
I think only boxers at 140 are a threat to tank. I think tanks beats pitbull worst the 2nd time. N I think tanks most dangerous opponent right now is teo. I would still love to see the shakur fight though
I call bs on that. If he knew that and it was true why was he claiming he was gonna ko the Ukrainian? That's the typical excuse when fighters go to and it should stop. You can't ko everyone.
I don’t think it was a hand injury it’s because David was fight a guy that weigh a size of a cruiser weight/ heavyweight Gvodzy was way bigger than David and plus don’t give him too much slack it’s his first fight at 175 and plus he got tired fast too at the new weight but it’s his first fight let him get his feet wet in the division
Tank knows he can take damage, thats why he stalks and hardly throws early on to feel his opponent out, he believes in his abilities, Tank ALWAYS loses at least the first 3 or 4 rounds but Frank walked into a trap plus he was TOO respectful of Tanks power to the point that he was moving more than usual and he was flinching hard when Tank fainted, thats not a good sign in front of a fighter like Tank...Tank set dude up before they walked in the MGM Grand, Tank never felt threatened by Franks power thats why he stayed the course until he cut the ring off and cornered dude, not to mention Tank been out for 14 months, he was definitely "rusty", Frank had a decent gameplan but the fear was there, nerves and anxiety are normal but fear? Gotta get over that, it alters the thinking process under duress...Shakur is the name that keeps coming up but NO Shakur fight will be entertaining to a casual fan and casual fans make you rich rich, ya know what I mean, they want excitement, only REAL boxing fans appreciate Shakurs' style, with that being said, nobody wanna see Shakur do what Frank was doin but to a higher degree, its impossible to look good against Shakur, it wont happen, thats a big thing to think about when making a fight, id rather see Keyshawn Davis vs Tank, itll be exciting and entertaining and Keyshawn NICE
Sticc to battle rap my G 💯 frank got tired mentally from tank pressure. He didn’t get tired from moving around he got mentally tired ! Tank face got bruised from blocking frank punches lol goodz is ass !
