Tank Destroyer Marder III Ausf. M - COBI 2282 (Speed Build Review) 

As much as I appreciate the new 1/35 line from cobi, this thing is just underdeveloped, they could've give it a bit more desk time and make it like 100 times better and on par with models like Stuart or Sherman. Also I think that COBI should separate the 1/35 and 1/28 so there won't be more drama, like the Youngtimer and 1/12 scale cars, just make the 1/28 models some kind of UCS/display sets with additional stand tags, and the 1/35, a play/minifigure scale series.

Before i knew your channel I literally had 0 cobi builds and u inspired me to take the step and start makin a collection 🙏

I love that cobi is adding engine detail to vehicles, but this is one that could have easily had something like that but they didnt include it, tons of wasted space, sad, still an interesting kit!

Ja der Maßstab is auch nicht meins. Ich freu mich auf den Jagdpanther 1:28. Das dürfte dir auch wieder mehr Spaß machen. Auch der Preis ist mir zu Hoch für den Marder. Beim Jagdpanther wirds dann wieder besser, hoffe ich Schöne Woche sei gewünscht.

I noticed that this more of a company of hero's build scale. Why they did not make it a bit bigger is beyond me. Think i will skip the new 1/35 scale kits as they look silly compared to the 1/28 and 1/24. The Halftracks and guns sure at 1/35. but tanks nope. Ok correction as this based on the new 38t coming out with a matilda 2 called battle of arras (tank museum) at 1/35 i can kinda see why they did it like that. also the track and idler wheel correct. Brick tanks can you try adding the 2 spare track links in and see if that fixes the tracks sticking. I done it on my panzer 1 and 2 that had issue as the small tracks stick and catch cuz they so small.

Its a nice tank but the lack of real hatches and détails in the casmate is a bit disappointing, i prefer what they did before with bigger tank even though they didn’t scale well with each other

The marder is a good tank destroyer because Compare to the old 50MM and short 75MM this one was sporting a longer barrel 75MM cannon.

The model looks nice, but it feels very fragile because of the scale.

Another model with ridiculous pricing. One year ago i could get 800-700 brick model in this price and 1-28 scale. Another hard pass.

Its nice but overpriced

1:35 scale once again shows its limitations. Fragile because of small scale providing little space for stud attachment. Blocky build with no interior focus and limited minifig compatibility (ironic) that sacrifices features for accuracy. Too small for physical details like hatches to be built in, requiring non-functional prints to make up for this lack. Overall tiny model that looks okay but has very limited features and is very expensive for you get. What a shame, 1:28 was much better than 1:35 in addressing these issues and the builds were much more substantial.

I feel like they're gonna remake the Tiger II now because those two way sloped wedges on the front of the super structure would get ride of the blockiness of the Tiger II's stepped turret sides...

I would have been a little happier if the main gun rotated a few degrees to the sides, i built many scale models and the mechanism to help them rotate is very simple, they could've given it to this model so it wouldn't feel like a stiff glued on gun, my guess is that they will remake this one

The Soldier has the same facial expression like me, when I saw this poor thing. With the right scale, cobi could have used more functional hatches and less prints. Horrible Set.

I would have loved this is 1/28. Finaly something that's not a well known tank. Alas 1/35 feels too small, is less study and you can't put the minifigs in it, not that cobi ver bothered with that the last 3 years, but you could in 1/28 always fix that youself by adapting the internal design. And then there is the price....it's overpriced.

I really don't like these plate-heavy models. Plates put a lot of tension on the whole construction and can warp certain areas. That's always a bit meh.

Ich mag den 1:35er Maßstab

Honestly it bothers me that Cobi seems to be moving to 1:35 scale for their WW2 tanks because it is possibly the worst scale they can do, and the only people that really want it are people that are too poor to buy Brickmania. 1:35 scale is perfectly fine for modern MBTs because they are massive and easier to translate in smaller scales but most WW2 tanks that aren't a heavy tank isn't exactly large and is probably a nightmare for the designers to make in 1:35. I mean c'mon just look at how plain and tiny the 1:35 scale tanks look compared to their older larger cousins it's ridiculous. Cobi is already using and have perfected the far superior 1:28 scale idk why they had to change now. If you're still unconvinced on how bad 1:35 is just look at how they resorted to printing the hatches instead of physically building them, that's a pretty major clue on how limiting this scale is.

'mehr, (den ich auch, wie du besitze) u. 'das Set!' ist super!!! = nix für ungut lieber BM - trotzdem danke fürs Vorstellen u. deine stete Mühe jedes Mal, was du immer präsentierst!!! 🔝 - PS: Seit Cobi die CoH-Lizenz erworben hat, haben die Preise echt ordentlich angezogen! 😏trotzdem bleibe ich ein treuer 'Cobist!' u. freu mich schon auf die *BR52-Kriegslok inkl. Panzerflachtragwagen! *hoffentlich nicht in deren 'lightbluishgray, sondern in dem Farbton vom Tiger Ausf.
