I totally understand this.. hate he’s going through this. I have vertigo and I suddenly loss my ability to speak over 5 years ago. I’m learning to speak all over again. 🙏🏽Keep the faith. We have to lean not on our own understanding

I had a similar problem with my left ear,for about 4 months I could barely hear, I could hear an airplane in the air,or a loud car/motorcycle in the distance, but not if you were standing next to me talking. This was difficult because I cut hair and couldn't really communicate with customers well. I went to the doctor twice and they couldn't seem to do anything. I asked if an antibiotic would help and they said no. Then I was hospitalized for something else which I did need an antibiotic for and my ears cleared right up. I wish doctors would listen to their patients more because that was a hard time for me.it was about 7 years ago and I haven't had that issue since thank God

Tank is an amazing artist! I found out a little while back of the hearing loss, its such a hard thing to go through. Vertigo like he had too then is awful. I had Labyrinthitus which is inflammation of the middle ear and caused vertigo like symptoms, it made me very sick& I couldn't even eat without help as I felt so strange & uncomfortable. The room would spin and I would lose balance etc. Thank God it passed. I cant imagine Tanks experience being a Singer where music is his gift, and that being taken away in this way. He is a true fighter! He sounded perfect at the Soul Train awards, a really divine voice👑. Prayers that he stops having to deal with this problem🙏🏼❤️ Much love to Tank & his Wife & kids/fam & friends❤️

I am so sorry to hear that Tank is going through this. I went through sudden sensorineural healing loss nine years ago. I woke up one day, feeling like my right ear was plugged up. I didn't think much of it at first, but I became alarmed as my hearing rapidly deteriorated further. So, like any online MD, I punched my symptoms into Google 😂. My diagnosis appeared, along with this warning: "Sudden sensorineural hearing loss is considered a health emergency that requires immediate medical treatment." By the next day, I had the tinnitus that Tank described. I also started to lose hearing in my left ear. I went in for a hearing test soon after that confirmed my online diagnosis. I saw an ENT who prescribed a 10-day regimen of prednisone. I went from a very high dose the first few days, then stepped down each day until I was down to one pill. The ENT stressed that I take the medicine EXACTLY as prescribed. I did, and my hearing was restored in both ears! I share this to help others. Please listen to your body.

I agree. The blond is nice, but I think it is the hairstyle. Too poofy. "Too Tweety bird" If it was more shorter it would be more becoming. Or even longer in a different style. The black color is her color, but I appreciate the change. She is gorgeous.

He needed to rest, sometimes God allows things to happen even in health for us to sit down. I've been a hairdresser 30 plus years and when covid hit I got really sick. Ears, throat, blood pressure. Nerves shooting out my hands like lightning bolts. My doctor confirmed my job in its entirely, the strain on my hands and the emotional and empathic tie to clients was making me sick and that I neede to retire. Said I was like the green mile, except I don't release it. I now have to come to Terms that I cannot work at full capicity. I have full carpal tunnel, carpal ulnar and neuropathy. We owe it to ourselves in jobs of service and entertainment to take time for ourselves.

I totally understand, I’ve had a tympanoplasty surgery in 2017. A musician as well, its inasnely scary. Ive had a hole in my ruptured ear drum since I was a child. Now, 26, I have a hearing aid and it helps, but I still pray day by day to work with it and get better. I’ll never let it define me, but embrace it and share my God given gift.

I admire your strength and vulnerability. I was diagnosed 7 years ago with Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia. In that time I also was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease. Keep on going Tank! God’s got you. You got this!

Hi I was wondering what test you took to be diagnosed with the degenerative disc disease. I've been having back pain since 2020 and have been seeing a neurologist. I've had mri's spinal tap and they still can't tell me anything. My next test will be a EMG. My back also hurts really bad for about 6months and then the next 6 months the pain diminishes a bit and I don't have to take medicine as much. It's like a routine first 6months of the yr hurts bad and second half of the yr the pain is still there but less. But yeah if u could tell me the test you had done I would appreciate it. Thank you

Wanted to know how long it took to be diagnosed with MS. My doctor has been checking my symptoms for over a year now. Nothing ever shows up. Not that I'm not happy about that because I am. But overall, I feel crazy.

Thank yooooou Tamron for having Tank Tank on. I knew he had hearing loss, but never knew he was in the studio creating another masterpiece!!! Tank is my favorite especially since he goes back in my era! I watched practically every video on RU-vid over and over! I can’t wait to get the new project and will be watching out for him again in some other venue! (TV, Stage, Production, etc.) He ain’t done with Tank yet!

I’m a fan of Tank. 🎤🎼 Funny thing is just recently had a issues with my hearing due to covid. Ended up going to ENT and I also have to have a hearing test soon. It’s scary losing some thing that you were born with and that you take for granite most of the time. I wouldn’t be who I am without my music 🎼 that I listen to every day I need that.

I had the right ear giving me the hearing loss feeling after Scuba Diving, following my challenge to equalize on my decent to 35ft. I went to the ear doctor and the audiologist and came out with an assessment that said my ear was fine, but like tank, I felt as if I was hearing less out of my right ear. The ear is slowly recovering, but I am still concerned like Tank; there is still a slight feeling of less hearing on the right ear. I'm calling Terk.

I also knew a hospice nurse that had the same condition. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to save her hearing in the left ear. She ended up needing a cochlear implant to continue her work. I wonder if Tank might be a suitable candidate for this procedure?

I have seen videos where there is a link from the brain to the ear that needs to be repaired. Tinnitus is a symptom of that. There are ways to repair it they say.

I have a similar syptom as swimmer's ears actually. I got better twice naturally but I may lose my hearing next time. Now Tank gave me time to get ready for it.

I agree with you. When God wants your complete attention He will get it. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years back and I believe that God allowed me to get it. He wanted me to sit my behind down and listen to what HE had to say to me. And he definitely SAT ME DOWN!

Read his story of how he step out the will of God and died in a plane crash. Some of us vocalist are called to do JUST GOSPEL. So I say all of this to say TANK BETTER SEEK GOD AND ASK FOR ANSWERS.
