The KV1 was a soviet heavy tank known for their heavy armour protection, especially during the german invasion of the soviet union where the tank was practically immune to all german guns but the 8.8cm flak gun. KV stands for Kliment Voroshilov, the soviet defence commissar and politician The Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track was a german armoured personnel carrier designed to transport the panzergrenadier, which was the german mechanized infantry. Sd. Kfz. stands for Sonderkraftfahrzeug, meaning special purpose vehicle

If I remember right in the pre game previews, you used a crane to remove the heavy parts. It seems to simplistic the way the finished game is.
