The 5th killer album of the world`s most underrated band. THIS is real metal. I'm in love with Tank since Brabbs / Brabbs / Ward supported Motörhead on stage in `81...
awesome 5th album from one of the best new wave of british heavy metal bands tank. so raw and bad ass. and algy ward is one hell of a frontman for this band, and a former member of the dammed. i love all their albums. #nwobhmforever
You KNOW it! The 'new" Tank is NOT Tank at all-they're another band altogether. What gets me is the amount of people who aren't concerned or offended that Algy's hard work was stolen from him. However, I can only imagine the fire and fury if someone tried to steal Metallica's name, you'd NEVER hear the end of it.
Algy has had a truly uphill battle, from his band mates trying to take the tank name from him to his illness that forbids him from loud sounds as it messes up his equilibrium. That's why he can't tour, because of his inner ear problems. Regardless, he keeps soldiering on and coming up with great music and looking back on it, he's the sole survivor of the original Tank platoon, and for what he's endured, and his ability to still put out great music, he will ALWAYS have my admiration and respect.
@@thevalleyoftears4382 Yeah the guys who took his name after it was legally copyrighted. He also has the inner ear problem which is part of the train wreck you mentioned. That's not his fault.
great heavy metal album, from nwobhm legends tank. i love them they just had something and more. man all their albums i love. and shame they wernt a huge band like saxon and iron maiden.
I totally love the style of these kinda bands like Tank, Dio, AccepT, Grim Reaper etc.... it´s like the most badass Hard Rock on steroids, absolutely AWESOME !!!!!
I believe "Still at War" their 6th! is quite a good record also, I bought "Tank" when the LP came out in the late 80's, it has a great sound, which can not be appreciated here, yet its good to hear it in its entirety, great good times! TANK never disappoints.
shitty sound. Maybe the sound engineer was drunk and he forgot to set up the bass, but this heavy metal album is an absolute masterpiece. One of the most influencal NWOBHM bands, in my opinion
+the valley of tears You're wrong - this was the LAST good Tank-album...the drum production is dull but the songs are ok - listen better to "With Your life" or "The hell they must suffer"...then think it over.
