Tanker in heavy storm 

Takes me back to the '60s and my youth, never dreamed I'd be able to witness seas like this again on a computer screen in the comfort of my home...

This is what my dad went through 15 yrs ago when he was a seaman. Just to deliver oil around the world to power peoples homes and make oil based products. These people deserve more thanks for the job tht they do

We experienced from idl (international dateline) to yokohama japan we run with out main engine turbo charger...if the weather is good our speed is 2 to 5 knots but if weather is bad we run zero...

I have been on oil tankers in same sort of weather the biggest problem was trying to keep your dinner on the table the 2nd was trying to keep it down.

Why the hell enter in to the storm and taking risk, its by chance they got out, one wrong move by the captain will take the whole ship deep inside the water
