pre- jio era of internet was so good with Aib,tvf,being indian etc but post jio the internet is filled with toxicity and peope just get offended on every other joke and then there will be a barrage of abuse,rape threats,death threats.i just think the internet would have been a much better place if people just chill out a little and start enjoying the content just like the good ol days.

So true. Mainly the thing is that after Jio, the number of creators have gone up but also the access to the internet for some, let's say not that bright intellectual, people. So that leads to idiotic and bullshit stuff getting more highlighted and talked about. Earlier it was just few people who could talk about things. Now conversing on the internet is impossible.

You are right to a point.The thing is kids these days watch tanmay stream for 2 hrs then, another streamer for 2 hrs and then themselves play for 2 hrs, it's not spamming or shit like that, it's the addiction factor which most kids to, the dopamine shoots up to an all time high, and say a less dopamine producing activity like studying seems even more difficult for them

But cant blame tanmay also, as the superchats are like a source of income for him and he has a staff to take care of as well.Another thing-RU-vidrs will keep streaming until people keep watching streams and giving superchats , Once it reduces, youtubers will automatically turn to creating other forms of content. Kudos to Tanmay for atleast making the effort to create another channel which has informative content while some youtubers dont bother to do even that. I mean its great that these youtubers are creating content in these tough times and people give superchats to support their efforts but its upto the viewers too to limit themselves, because the amount of content out there is alot more than is required.

But he also talks about the constant dopamine hitsof social media, abundance of content, live streaming being addictive and the addictive power the kids have to say whatever through superchats and influencers reading it. Watching 1-2 hours daily is harmless, but doing anything in excess is harmful be it any form of content. End of the day it comes to the individual himself to limit their usage because the content out there is endless

See in this lockdown watching of utube has increased definitely... Pre lockdown tanmay stream was 10k , now easily 20k - 30k .... So more and more people come to utube for timepass ... Watching utube is okay But doing nonsense activities such as spamming in chat, fights in comment sections These all are wrong
