The show reflect reality of our "sankari culture" and how this all is normalised just to have women controlled and men, who actually made everything about this "culture" , "traditions" , religious norms imposed on women, framed by men, for the interest of Men and to enslave women, Enjoy!!
@@sapnayyy__ i don't believe this to downgrade women , I've seen cunning women who use men to extract their selfish interests. It's more about that general human being. I do believe women face a lot but sometimes we need to think above feminism to remove stupid cultural ideologies
Tanmay’s face the moment she said “you know how I hate comedy” like *what, why, how? How is this scientifically possible? Tell me! Tell me right now!* face
When Naida nodded with him not liking the Ketchup, and Tanmay bursted out with emotions “abhi shaadi karooooo”.. that was exactly me on this side of the screen 😅❤️
I really liked Nadia and Vyasar. They're real and very relatable. They didn't really have any unrealistic expectations. Most annoying are Aparna and Akshay. Pradyuman is not terrible, he's just a superficial materialistic guy, no surprises there. But why is everyone pretending like this doesn't happen in India? This is how arranged marriages work.
@@letstalkafricawithmspaida1655 I had not completed the series when I commented. I also want to add Ankita to the list. I didn't like the attitude of Geeta towards Ankita and she just showed these ladies the middle finger. I'm pretty sure she'll find the right guy (or girl) in the future. She's a great girl and I loved her family. She deserves more than this crappy Netflix show and the guys on this show.
tanmay is like that guy who just started watching Game of Thrones and hoping that Ned Stark will be the king. RIP his expectations about Nadia and vinay XD
It’s so much more annoying tbh. Like you cannot keep ghosting someone, keep ditching them with weird reasons and then expect to be let off the hook and then be shadowed as not up for a serious relationships. If he wasn’t up for that, why tf was he a client of Sima and not on hinge or tinder
I dont like vyasar...he looks shady to me...though he looks jolly and always laughing he has something wrong/illegal going on other than his dad's story there is some more things to him ...let me introduce myself...i am that face reader pandit ji
I'm not really saying that I like Aparna but if you see more episodes you will know why she is the way she is, so I just feel sorry for her in some way
I agree, Aparna thinks she is a huge catch but she seems to want things her way or the highway. The prospective groom has to mold himself to fit into her lifestyle. She does not seem open to compromise. She will be single for a long time with that attitude.
@@dianeb9578 the problem w her is that she has grown to think that she is better than everyone else and which is not true. Her mom instead of grounding her, is adding fuel to her ego and making her think that noone deserves her. But with that attitude, she doesnt deserve a nice person💁♂️
@@aasthakothari3517 I agree, she is getting older and pretty soon will have to scrape the bottom of the barrel if she continues to be so picky. Her mother is not making it easier also. She keeps giving her two cents as if the guy is marrying both of them.
I thought even weirder. I thought that will she has to be flexible with types of preferences in sexual affairs or the person of sex. I watched the show just to make fun of these people. I empathize and nothing else. Tanmay could have done better. Netflix is doing this to gain attention but it is not worth my time. Not like NARCOS or Roma.
Do your prefer indian or american She :- ive been brought up in america and i know this culture so i want some one from that culture as well so it would be easier to date... So NORTH INDIAN
more like "I am closeted and am going to make it so obvious to you but i realize that you are willfully blind and might misconstrue it as being fashion forward"
@@soneelita Your english is straight up cancer, read it again and you will know what you just said, your statement conveys that short people dont deserve to get married, your statement should be "just because someone is short, "doesnt" mean that they dont deserve to get married" , people really say it right " indian women need education, a lot of it"
Akshay's mother is insane. Just big good luck for the bahu who is going to bear her and her thinking. Everything she talked about was insanely stupid and nonsense.
I know right! I mean that girl clearly said she wants to work after marriage. I wonder why he didn't convey to his mother and said yes to her. But I really liked that girl. She was so sincere.
I get why everyone is angry about the show, but isn't this something that happens on a daily basis. If you are getting appalled by this you must be living under a rock all this while, atleast the show has burst the bubble that people from educated backgrounds or who have immigrated to foreign lands are open-minded or any better than the native Desis.
Ye sb normal working class families me bohut kum hota hai because itne nakhre unko na kbhi sikhaya jata hai aur na hee unko fursat hoti hai in sbki...so yeah these things are mostly seen either in rich households or rural areas and that's why they are called extremes and not irony 🙏
@@RedHood_Sam yikes no..normal working class ppl k bhi nakhre hain .I think arranged marriages r the only domain jahan pe teenon economical classes k nakhre itna zyada hain vo bhi aukaat k bahar...
Indian parents are like "Don't interact with strangers", "Don't talk to someone". And then they would like their kids to marry someone whom you have met 2 times. Like seriously?
@@plotplot872 yes, but when you spend time with them, if they are really compatible with us, then they are not. Unlike some elders randomly selecting someone based on a fuckin caste
@@akshanshchoudhary7397 we can say no in an arranged marriage but they don't allow us to get to know that person. It's like we meet them and if everythings fine next month it's marriage.
"Srini, the loser" - I had to repeat that few seconds for a few times to believe wat she actually said! You should watch it all and review the entire season .. it's funny 😁
Sindhi mothers are like that. Jyothika had a problem with his age and what he earns... They don't care how interesting a person is... Bass paisa aur looks chahiye.
When Geeta told Ankita that she had to give up her emotional self and that she has to adjust more than the guy, my blood started to boil 🙄 Ankita is a strong independent and beautiful woman to me, and the matchmaker said that shes unphotogenic and stubborn? Like what?!! It’s the 20th Century and yes men and women CAN be equal. I’m not Indian so If that’s how it is over there, then I apologize but this is my opinion.
Ikr! Both Ankita and Aparna was labelled as stubborn cause they were independent woman and didn’t wanted to compromise in choosing life partner! And the fact she was set up with divorced guy without even telling her really made me dislike geeta!
People see this show wrong, they're interpreting this show wrong, It's just a stand-up comedy show without the audience, without stage, without lights and mics (puns intended) Covid 19 style
So basically everyone knew what to expect and still they watched this show and now commenting how bad it was💁♀️. I see this as an absolute win for netflix. Their target is achieved... in one way or the other🥴
Soumik Naskar well I thought series would take from meeting to wedding . 🙄.. sima 🤦🏻♀️finds polar opposites for her clients . Judges them instead of actually listening to what her clients want.
Is no one going to talk about how the subtitle at 1:25 says "we have to see the caste, the height..." but the voice-over says age and height. Naughty Netflix! 😂
