This is a scenic place to go for a walk or sit down and relax. The park is well maintained and has public washrooms and free parking. This park is a very nice place to either sit down, relax and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario; or, be active and walk, run, bike or skate. It is connected to Water Works Park on the west side and Sixteen Mile Creek on the east side. There are many benches on the waterfront trail that you can sit down and enjoy the view and park is well-maintained and clean. You also can see the Toronto skyline on a good weather condition. The monument on the Tannery Hill Beacon is nice to watch and you also can enjoy the view better from up in the hill.
There is a pier, and a few small trails to walk on. When the sailboats are in the water its much better than early spring or winter. Great view of lake nearby. I always liked lighthouse for the bring a feeling of peace and they stand out in the dark communicating safety.
