We’ve got the same last name and we grew up 60 miles apart in Az. She moved to a town called Wilcox and I lived in Marana. I rode bulls at their rodeo every year and finally got to meet her in person and got a big hug. Oh she smelled so good!!
Grew up with this song. I remember when the radio stations wouldn't play some of her songs because they thought she was too young to be singing such type. I believe this is one of the songs. But she proved them wrong look where she is today. Her voice was alway so magical. Just sad that she ruined so much time then with Glen Campbell because she had so much going for her.
Tanya Tucker, was 14, years old when she recorded Would you lay with me? A very beautiful song, from a very beautiful woman. I would like to see her in concert, some time.
I was 4 years old living in Germany with Mom and Dad (he was the Army) back in the 70's. I think Tanya Tucker was probably my first crush. Great song. Written by David Allan Coe and sung by Tanya Tucker...although I do like David's version a little better. Both are great though.
