Today, Patrick Adair Designs an inlay ring using Tanzanite and blue opal set inside a tungsten carbide ring blank. This ring features an awesome mix of blues using blue glow powder and blue pigment from Astro Dust. This Ring has an amazing glacial theme and is a favorite around our shop. We make this ring using a lathe and Dremel. No other tools are necessary!

And that is why I always put the lid on my glow powder before I start to shake up my mixture. I just know that if I don't, I'll knock the container over.

I really hope that one day my wife and I can buy rings like this from you to replace our wedding rings. We had to pawn ours to try to keep our place (that we still ended up losing) at the start of this pandemic and lost them because we couldn't afford to get them out of pawn. I've enjoyed all of your designs for the last couple of years. Keep up the awesome videos.

Titanium is considered a "soft" blank? I know tungsten is as tough as metal gets, but I never considered titanium as a material that requires gentler care.

I recently used a titanium blank for a ring, and believe me, it's actually not super hard. It's not even quite as dense as copper or steel like the other guy mentioned. I managed to get a little carried away while I was dremeling, and it chewed up a couple small spots along the blank.

why do you use CA adhesive? Not sure how well that works structurally, as it's not really meant to fill in gaps I think? Why not use something like UV resin?

I dont know if im at all correct, but it feels to me as if making rings has become boring to you. The uniqueness has dropped significantly and watching the videos isnt very interesting. Maybe the pandemic is the reason? Or maybe you need to take a break to regain those creativity juices? I wouldnt mind waiting. I did like the jet engine one even though, to me, it wasnt too interesting either.
