Steve sometimes didn't pick up Sarah because he had knee troubles. In fact, other Krolocks sometimes don't pick her up either just to take a break because it's physically taxing to do it each night. They usually just bite her a second time during that time.
We miss you Maestro Steve...in lovely memory from paganian Wampire belivers from Walachiah(Romanian)boys from Serbia.Save us from Serbian Ortodox Church who wanna to destroy ours Paganian Cults. This is not a joke.
@Mor7682 They decided it was too much of a liability for the Phantom to catch her and nixed it on Broadway and most other productions, but the London one has always kept it up. That's rather neat that you saw him not catch her in London -- it's a rarity!
If you look colsey Sarah missed up when he pulled her up she moved up like he was going to pick her up but then it was like she remberd and leand back again lol
@Mor7682 I'd assume that it's discussed before the scene. If it wasn't planned, it would be visibly awkward seeing as both actors work together on the lift, even though it appears pretty effortless on Sarah's part. As for Phantom, was it in London? If it wasn't, then the Phantom isn't supposed to catch her anyway. If it was the London production, he is supposed to catch her, and it was changed for some reason for that specific showing!
