The Ahoms have their own tenets and faith. From the Ahom Chronicles it can be known that when Lengdon, the king of Mong Phi (The heavenly kingdom), sent two of his grandsons Khunlung and Khunlai to Mong Ri (present Xishuangbanna, China) at that moment Ye-Cheng-Pha the God of knowledge advised them to perform Umpha, Phuralong, Mae Dam Mae Phi and Rik-khwan worships in different months of a year on different occasions to pay respect to the Phi-Dam (Ancestral Spirit) and Khwan elements. Since that day till now Mae Dam Mae Phi has been observed by all the Tai-Ahom in Assam India
One thing I've learned- Daoists don't advertise for members- they find you. In 1998, I went to a Chinese restaurant and, as usual, I brought a Buddhist book to read while waiting. The hostess, who turned out to be the owner, asked me a few questions about the book I was reading. About a week later, I went to the same restaurant, and two ladies walked in and asked me a few questions, (the owner called them) and sat down. I was invited to attend a meeting, and I went. Within two months, I received transmission of the Dao, by the Master from Taiwan. I learned later that they never advertise- Only by recommendation will you ever get in to the true groups- Anyone advertising on FB, YT, etc. looking for members, isn't the true Dao.
Thank you for creating and posting this. Do you know why some of the words are not pronounced the way it would be pronounced in a usual conversation? They seem to be slightly different. Are there other chants like Jee Bo posted?
I'm writing a paper about taoist ritual chants and I've found some information about yinyun and yangyun chants performed during rituals: xiudao fashi, jinnian fashi and zaijiao fashi. Does anyone know characters to those chants and rituals?

I longer believe in the SUPREME "TAO". And I believe in our Supreme leader "LAO TZU". But there is a problem. I don't know how to worship and pray. I want to move to China in the future and learn "TAOISM", and I would also love to have a Taoist Chinese wife. He becomes my guide.
