I would suggest marking where the dowels would come through the nailed on blocks and drilling clearance holes.That way you could drive out the dowels and replace the steel plate if needed.Of course you could always measure their position from the other side,and use a Forstner bit,lol.Thanks for the series!

I found out the sound recording volume on my camera was really low. It should be better in the next videos I make.
