Your breakfast was better than what I remember getting in Clipper Class (flying on Trans Atlantic flights out of JFK to West Europe) on Pan Am in the late 70s and early-mid 80s.

This is very informative (although it’s a bit of an old video) this is the exact flight I’ll be taking on my way to Spain! Detroit to Miami, at 4 something I leave Miami and arrive in Portugal at 5 ish. Very excited and much less nervous for the quality of the aircraft after seeing this! I requested seat 11A (window seat thankfully) so my flight should be similar to yours, hopefully minus the intrusive seat mate. >_

I'm traveling TAP from Newark to Porto Francisco then PF to Funchal. Economy. Flight #214 quite honestly this will be my first time ever on airplane and it's for a nine hour flight! LOL I know nothing about this airline or airplane. I don't know if the number 214 flight is on a newer plane or not. Look ok. A tad bit cramped for nine hours but I'll survive. Thanks for the great video

whether or not it was a mistake or daily business to wait for somebody to handle the bridge it should not be that way. The aircraft is returning from Miami not London or Rome. Glad you made it safe to Lisbon. However I loved the baby alarm lol

Was that you running on the beach in the opening shot? When you sat down and heard that baby, you were probably thinking, “Oh my god, this is going to be misery.” But in the rest of the video, it sounds like the baby just went to sleep. The food looked decent. What did you think of it? I’ve never flown TAP, but it seems pretty nice overall. The only painful part is the connection in Lisbon. I’ve never been to Portugal, but I have heard good things about it. How long was the flight Miami to Lisbon? Around 8 hours or was it shorter? Very nice video!

TAP has been rolling out upgraded Airbus A330-200s for its transatlantic routes, which include wifi service and upgraded IFEs. However, TAP has been confirmed as the launch operator of the first A330-900neo widebodies, which will almost certainly be used on transatlantic flights as well, as I believe TAP is looking to expand to even more routes in North America. TAP has ordered 14 A330-900neo aircraft and they are looking to enter service in Q4 2017. My strongest guess is that they will certainly start service to Canada from LIS, most likely Toronto-Pearson and Montréal-Trudeau to snap up some easy business currently only being run by Air Transat. I also think TAP has designs to enter Chicago-O'Hare, and possibly a California airport - my guess would be Oakland International or SFO, but LAX might be a candidate too. Because of the economic downturn in Brazil, I don't expect that they'll be seeing many new aircraft entering service on those routes, but they've made no announcements to that effect.

This will be my third round trip with TAP to Sevilla, Spain. I have been satisfied with flying with them, they have been very professional and less expensive than all the other carriers going to Spain. I love the foot rests.

I just got back from DC on SAS A340 - absolutely dreadful experience. Cabin was really old and in urgent need of refurbishment, crew was typically Scandinavian - no smiles etc. It also turns out that only one drink other than water and (totally horrible) coffee/tea is complimentary. Around 3AM somewhere over Atlantic Ocean I was told by FA when I asked for coke - 5$. Just to warn you ;) I wonder why can't you film crew, if you agree to do a job among +/- 300 people you should be aware that someone will take a picture of you, even unintentionally. I witnessed WizzAir FA approaching some group of students just fooling around and taking selfies who told them that filming 'anyone' is an offence and if they don't delete pics/videos immediately they will be fined by cops. Weird. Enjoyed the video, keep them coming :)

I think this is the older cabin. I went on TAP in 2012 from São Paulo to Lisbon and it had different seats and a more modern touchscreen and better interface. But the stuff used for the breakfast looks much better than it did. Idk?

Even tho I'm Portuguese and I love flying with tap I definitely wouldn't fly with them on premium economy due to the room available because sometimes people like to lean back and they can't because of the space available, it seemed like u had no space

Lucky lucky..i git upgraded to business class and i was so happy only to arrive in the aircraft and have the older version..(not very nice cabin no ondemand video and tiny screens..)
