Before the phone or watch sends the the NFC signal it asks for Face or Touch ID to make sure its you. So unless you have the card on the express mode which bypasses that (which is only made for transit cards) its pretty safe, use it all the time on my watch and phone.

@@JasperwithaJ I have had my credit card number stolen about 3 times in the last 5 years, I think it's much more secure paying with your phone so nobody sees you card numbers

@@kyledupont7711 That sucks, sorry to hear about that. Yeah it’s great having it especially when you don’t wanna dig in your pockets or bag for your wallet. And I’m pretty sure they do it in a way where they send a temporary transaction code so that during the transaction no system actually gets your card, which is good to avoid getting your info stolen if there was ever a data leak in their system.

@@barnabasbalogh1379huh? this is at apple park. they are using their own payment system and their own tap-to-pay feature. square does use tap-to-pay, but it isn’t designed by square.
