If she’s doing all of this to her hair (not wearing it curly) she might as well get a relaxer. Then shower and go to the gym without as much work to do 😑
Idk lol, I avoid humidity and keep my hair wrapped up but it’s pretty hard to keep it from reverting successfully for me. I just put some goddess braids in this summer and I am LOVING being able to work out and go for a casual swim whenever eye want.
@@llyroe7652 Right because a public comment written on the internet is your “business” 🤦🏽♀️ You’re DEADASS retarded😭 right off the 🐌🚌 Now go wash your crusty scalp💆♂️🧴
Ugh you have 4c hair too?! You are so relatable!! I love your content so much I wish you were like my big sister to have guided me with your advice in my early 20s and teen years 🫶🏽🩷
I have a whole husband, kids, career, and working in my Masters. Going to the gym 4 days a week is my sanctuary all this other stuff is way to over the top for me. But I love your energy
IMHO- Y’all have to start using heat protectant that INCLUDES humidity resistance, like color wow, Chi Iron guard 44 etc. clean or replace flatiron -as needed- thank me later Queens 😂❤🎉
How she’s doing it in this vid is how you maintain them safely. And get them professionally put in and taken out and to minimize hair loss. They can be for us if you just accept the fact that it’s not a protective hairstyle.
What Do You Use To Condition Your Hair When It’s Straight? I Love My Silk Press But After A While It Gets Dry Chyle😩Ive Tried Several Different Leave In Conditioners But They Always Make My Curl Pattern Show😢
Nothing wrong w/ having kinky edges we should love our hair in all it’s states but I love doing too much so I’m 13 yrs natural and my aesthetic is layed edges💅🏽✨ So w/ that said, Your edges will be busted if you only wear a bonnet (your hair needs the tension when sleeping so it doesn’t get wild) so you should add a edge scarf or just wear a scarf instead. Plus it’s less work in the am when it’s time to get ready. I have locs down to my butt and I wear both at night if I’m trying to maintain a hair style or just to get my hair out of the way so I can sleep comfortably. At minimum I have a lil Jamaican black castor oil in a applicator bottle from the beauty supply that I run along my hairline brush it in and tie my edges down, in the morning they are super soft and ready to be easily manipulated into my desired style. Also great to do before working out bc they won’t curl up on you so quickly. Which for me normally starts w/ adding a lil gel brushing/ twisting that into place and then added edge control then tying it down again for about 15-30mins then I’ll comb out & shape my baby hairs and smooth them down w/ my fav edge control rn w/ is from Eben. If I have time I’ll also set that w/ moose and they done move but are still soft to the touch. My edge laying game is on point I’ve been getting asked for yrs if I perm my edges sooo 😊
@@thezu9250 no the video was about maintaining hair after it’s styled. so she meant wear scarfs to keep your hair looking fresh. and there is even a clip of her in the elevator w/ a scarf on so she didn’t mention an issue w/ wearing bonnets out just w/ that being the only thing you use to protect your hair.
Y’all be trying soooo hard to wear straight hair😂 your hair ain straight… it’s not meant to be. A quick 1-2 week tape in, ok… but whooooooo is taking baths for weeks…. As an adult? Aht aht. Just embrace your hair atp😭🫶🏾
Glad you didn’t relax your hair, but you still have heat damage at the top 😣. Tape ins are not great for your texture for longevity as the original comment said.
Yhyh hitting from every perspective i heard you wanna purchase the wooden i got you im a plank! Anyways they call me the NAPPY hair girl slayer! Last of a dying BREED!🎉
I LOVE self care but after seeing a couple of your videos , you just make it seem so mentally exhausting … as if you are not actually doing it for yourself because you want to , but because you feel like you NEED to…
