Watch our quick video guide showing how to apply Kinesiology Tape for Achilles Tendonitis. For this you will require two lengths of tape - one long length and one short length. Achilles Tendonitis is one of the most common applications of Kinesiology Tape - find out about the positioning by watching our video. It is important that once you’ve applied the tape, you wait for 30 minutes, ensuring not to let the edges catch on clothes and roll inwards. Successfully applied Meglio Kinesiology Tape will stay in place for four to five days.

I had really bad achillies....eventually I had shock wave therapy and acupuncture.. absolutly marvellous...wasted months on pyshio etc...after the first session I felt a difference...x

I have calcifications on my foot I have heel pain, swelling and swelling of the Achilles tendon. I couldn't even walk or exercise Is there any hope, please, to recover and resume sport despite the presence of calcification

Not sure at all, I have seen other videos where the foot is rested in the opposite direction, here the Achilles Tendon is retracted. What is the difference?

Can you leave his tape on indefinitely as long as it stays stuck or can the glue be toxic?

Hi Joann, great question! Our Kinesiology tape has undergone rigorous testing to ensure it stays in place and can be used for up to 3-4 days without causing irritation. I would suggest consulting your physio if you need a longer term solution.
