I just got this today. Its crazy you can't invert an image. I'd like to hang this from ceiling/awning. I though I could just use the side screw in threads. But if you than hang it upside down you can't invert the image. In what scenario would you want this laying on a table. Its makes no sense. The screw hole should be 180 degrees on the other side. I just got it for $30 from Amazon so I though it was a great deal, but I believe it will be unusable now.

I'm an idiot. I'll leave this up in case anyone else jumps the gun. The mounting bracket ball joint has a grove in it on one side. That will allow you to angle it 90 degrees so you can mount it on the ceiling.

@@Jay-sg2ww The ball joint got me too when I first put it up. The reason with PIR cameras that you can not invert the image is that then the PIR sensor would not be located in a good place to detect the heat based motion events.

@@Wanderer001_Reviews Makes sense, the PIR sensor needing to be on the bottom. Since you have tested both, what do you think of this vs the C425. In your opinion is it worth the upgrade for and additional $30. Better resolution, higher frame rate, bigger battery, etc. C402 might have a better PIR sensor (bigger) and does have usb-c.

@@Jay-sg2ww For me it would come down to two things. The 402 is meant to be used with the included solar panel, so the bigger battery on the 425 does not give it that much of an edge. You could also buy a solar panel for the 425. I like the better frame rage and resolution of the 425 but it has one big down fall. The magnet mounting means if could be pulled down much easier.
