Here's a snippet from an interview with MaximumRocknroll Your demo tape features a drawing of a wrecking ball taking out the Kabah. Can you tell us a little more about the artwork and its meaning for you? First of all, Taqbir is the term for ‘Allahu Akbar,’ usually used as a battle cry, for those who wonder. For me the cover totally denounces the religious institutions. The Kabah is the representation of authority in Islam and mecca -for me-is the representation of capitalism. Saudi Arabia earns millions of dollars thanks to the pilgrims and we all know where this money goes. It goes to bomb Yemenis for example. Religious institutions are built up by hypocrisy and it’s my right to be against it, like white people have the right to be against their own religious institutions. Islam is not different from other religions. It is misogynistic, homophobic, retrograde, period.

@Danny that's as much an ignorant comment as what clueless mainstream media said about punk scene in 1979 - 80 .Punk is alive and well , not every punk band sings about the same things , or are militant about the same things, expecting every body else to be. Not everyone is a hardline militant in the scenes, there are allsorts. Always has been that way. I don't hang around with any radical militants left or right. I'm just in it for the music number one.
This is the first time I heard any Moroccan punk. I did not even have a clue there was any kind of scene there at all. This reminds me of some raw and passionate as fuck early mid 80s Euro style. Whatever, but I reckon thats a good thing. Their hearts are in , number one it comes across that way, and that makes all the difference yeah
Last night, man, I was so drunk, I was calling Morocco, man. Calling, trying to get to the Hotel Hilton at Tangiers in Casablanca, man. That's, I mean, that's, that's pathetic, man! Is that what you wanna do with your life? Suck down peppermint schnapps and try to call Morocco at two in the morning? That's senseless! But that's what happens, man
Ah my youth.. that was 25yrs+ ago and I use to get wasted on Jaegermeister (straight)blasting punk music etc. and prank calling in the dead of night with my friend. Taquito is

There's a whole label from tunisia named A WORLD DIVIDED on Bandcamp that promotes mediterranean and arabic punk I'm sure you guys would like to check them out
@@RickDrift Muslim are getting harrased in my country and beaten by mobs of skinhead and nationalist. Punk is not about helping the fascist bring back their ideology in europe.
@@roguesiderouen Am i missing something? I just said I liked the album artwork. I dont know what country you live in so how can I even check up on any reports of this. Furthermore, do you speak arabic ,do you know what this band is saying, Because as far as i am concerned , this band is from Morocco, which according to wiki is 99 percent muslim. Maybe they are allowed to criticize the religion.

My ass, my ass is big (X2) *This is a mockery of the phrase al-lah akbar (which means god is bigger or god is great) so in turn al-zuki akbar means literally my ass is bigger/great ** Hajja is the female version of haj, which means someone who have been to saudi arabia and performed the haj ritual. It is associated with high moral and religious standing in morocco and the haj is in most cases and old person. + This plus sign i put next to a line im not sure i got correct, its probably wrong. I did my best cuz its rly hard to hear the lyrics, plus the vocalist speaks in the northern dialect.
bhahaha yang ada juga mereka anti islam lmfao. wong mereka tuh orang2 yang murtad dari islam [trus jadi ateis] gegara hidup di negara islam. ga baca lirik2nya apa?🤭🤣
After what had to be 23rd listen I went on discogs or ebay and bought the vinyl. It supposed to have lyrics on itself. So I hope to translate and understand what I am listening to. Will share once I get it and get the 100th listen on muh analog system.

Amazing album, anyone willing to translate or semi translate songs/names of them? Hard to understand the political implications when you're from Europe. Cheers!
I'll just translate the titles of each track because they just get repeated for the most part,so track 1 : listen, track 2 : aicha kandisha,a ghost/demon lady from Moroccan folklore,a succubus of sorts, track 3 : tfo alik, you say that when you hate someone and "spit" on him so to speak, track 4 : my taste is bigger, can also be understood as my ass is bigger,a matter of similar wording orthography wise
