Tara Strong on The Powerpuff Girls Reboot 

Tara looks like a genuine woman you want to hangout with. The voice actress of my generation. 🙂

Tara is such a gem. I love the personality and aura she gives off, it's so positive.

Thank god they got replaced. The OG voice actors should never be forced to work with such dreadful "scripts" that the current writers on that show spew out.

Honestly, I'm glad Tara did not get hired for the pitiful reboot that is Powerpuff Girls 2016. It's utterly terrible, nowhere near as good as the original. They've stained that show with the awful art style, terrible jokes and....child twerking? The reboot wasn't worth the talent she and the others voice actors had to offer.

As if I didn't feel bad enough about the change in cast of the new (and awful) Powerpuff Girls show, now I hear Tara describing the situation like Bubbles was a daughter she had to give up to foster parents against her will. I'm holding back tears. But, as they say, Tara, love makes the world go round.

We deserved a better PPG reboot than the one we got! Seriously, TMNT had 2 great reboots, plus a 3rd one is on the way. Having a darker reboot with the original VAs could've worked, dammit! Why did they have to go the TTG route and ruin it? PPG 2016 is like what Sonic '06 was to the Sonic franchise.

I love meeting Tara Strong in person for the very first time

I've grown up watching shows that Tara Strong voiced: Fairly Oddparents, old PPG, Teen Titans, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Danny Phantom and probably tons more I can't think of at the moment. Now I'm 21 years old and I still watch shows with Tara voice acting: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (which Twilight Sparkle is my favorite of), still watch old Fairly Oddparents and old powerpuff girls stuff (like the movie) and so much more. Tara, in a way, you have been a huge part of my life ever since I was a little girl (even if I didn't know it until I did the research). Thank you for voicing so many wonderful characters and being a wonderful piece of my childhood and even my adulthood now.

She was the voice of my childhood: Raven, Timmy Turner, and soooo many more. When I found out that Timmy was voiced by a lady, I was astounded. She is so talented.

I have nothing against the new voice actors for the ppg reboot, but characters ARE their voices. Changing a voice can essentially ruin a character. As much as I was grateful to have Greg Baldwin try his best to voice aku for the the fifth season of samurai jack, no one could play aku like Makoto Iwamatsu. May he rest in piece. Same goes with every character voiced by Tara Strong. They both had/have such iconic voices.

I don't mind that the voices were replaced. I love both sets of voice actresses equally. Tara Strong and E.G. Daily are my favorites in the classic, while Kristen Li is my favorite in the remake.

1:22 I was really upset when you three weren't coming back to voice your characters and the voice change of princess and the removal of Ms. bellum. But after watching the reboot they did you guys a big favor by not bringing you back and I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me.

Honestly...all 3 girls in the reboot...there's barely any noticeable differences in their voices. They each sound way too similar to one another. The original actors gave them such iconic voices. You hear any part of their dialogue without watching and could immediately know which character it was "oh thats Bubbles"

She is a timeless gem, as she is defined not by just one voice, but the totality of her entire existence and ability to deliver a sense of humor, even when shit feels a bit down. But, nostalgia is just a motherfucker.

Tara and her co-stars dodged a bullet when they were denied the chance to reprise their characters in the PPG reboot. That show is garbage and not even the original lead actresses could make that awful writing sound good.

The change of voice actors is not the only reason I don't watch the reboot

It's awful its alot less funny than the original, they barely fight crime, 90 percent of the problems are Buttercup or Bubbles fault rather than the villains the so called heroes are bigger nuisances than the villains,The Powerpuff Girls act very out of character Blossom acts more like Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory than Blossom. In the classic version Blossom was smart but it wasn't exaggerated this much and she didn't go nuts over things like Perfect attendance or going to Harvard she rarely went nuts at all she is supposed to be more of a straight man character and acted more like an actual kid. She is supposed to be the reasonable and wise leader. Now she is whiney, Bubbles is the closest to her original version I'll give credit where it is due but she is sometimes angry, vain and selfish, Buttercup became a jerk she was the tough one who was sassy but was alot less reckless, mean, and she wasn't portrayed as irresponsible. they barely use the best characters and when they do they use them wrong why is Mojo Jojo always in drag its weird Mojo Jojo is one of the easiest most hilarious characters to write how did they get him wrong when he isn't being evil which should be occasional he should be acting like Squidward and he doesn't repeat himself anymore that was funny why did they get rid of that, they have the mayor without Ms. Bellum which is stupid. That would be like kicking Lois off of Family Guy she isn't the funniest character but an idiot needs someone to bounce off of and scold them when they do something wrong. The old one is more creative the new one picks the most cliche sitcom plots you can think of. Old show: We have to stop the Broccoli Aliens by eating them New show: Buttercup needs a new guitar for battle of the bands. And when they rehash old episodes they miss the point of them or make them less funny. Bubbles of the Opera is a knockoff of one of my favorite episodes Bubbleviscous .In Bubbleviscious Bubbles was pure of heart and wanted to pove she wasn't a baby and wanted to be tough like her sisters but went too far in the new one she turns evil because she's not cute on picture day What the heck. The new show also goes overboard with weirdness instead of telling actual jokes this is one line from an episode "Oh No He's going to destroy the jar district that is the life blood of this town" What was that supposed to be funny what the heck was that about. It's also not dark enough Powerpuff Girls is supposed to have black comedy sometimes the new one tries to hard to be sweet by putting in morals.

The new voices are ok but not nearly as good especially Bubbles. The new bubbles sounds less like a cartoon character and more like a regular girl. Tara Strong's bubbles is instantly recognizable and sounds more cartoony

I almost cried when saw the reboot of ppg and I could right away tell the difference in the voices ,specially bubbles and buttercup . I wish they kept the same voices , I'm almost 30 and I watch every episode ,it so nostalgic

Been a Tara Strong fan since Lost Odyssey. I found My Little Pony when my daughter was three or four. I was pleasantly surprised hearing her voice again. I love life's pleasant coincidences.

Tara Strong is one of my all time favorite voice actors since I was a kid, When I’m watching a cartoon, besides the original PowerPuff Girls, she was everywhere: Teen Titans, My Little Pony FIM, Samurai Jack and so much more. I’m glad she expressed her emotions with the unworthy reboot. Tara, I hope I see someday.😊

If I was in charge of new Powerpuff girls I would address all the problems I already wrote about and force everyone to watch the tv shows it was biased on. You understand something better if you know it's roots. Powerpuff Girls was inspired by Rocky and Bullwinkle, Adam West Batman, and Underdog. Also every episode of the original a million times.

There are several characters I made for whom Tara is my first choice as a voice actress ^_^ One of them is a humanized honey bee, one is a pirate chasing down a giant sea reptile and one is kind of like a female version of the Joker.

Networks also underestimate how much fans want something to have a Continuation.

Really would've been great if she reprised her role as Bubbles for the new Powerpuff Girls show along with the other actresses with their voices like Cathy Cavadini could've reprised her role as Blossom or maybe have Grey DeLisle voice her instead since she voiced her one time in 2011 and E.G. Daily could've reprised her role as Buttercup or maybe have Tara Strong (voice of Bubbles) fill in for her since she voiced her a few times before the same year Blossom was voiced by Grey DeLisle.

Come on, they didn't want to get the original actors because they would've had to pay them more. And in the end, it became one of the myriad of problems the reboot had. You're too good for it Tara. And we know it.

I was very disappointed when the original voices of The Powerpuff Girls weren't going to be in this new show, this is why I gave up on Cartoon Network and start watching Nickelodeon more often with the loud house which is my new favorite show.
