+kc5hgv : You moron see that the platform is not under construction that needs anyone to wear a safety net. Do you wear a helmet on every time sleeping or working under a roof against the possible collapse of the building by earthquake?
No, no, that's not how it works. There's a fish ladder designed in every dam for fishes to go other side. They pass through fish ladder with high pressure, so that they don't have to cross the high dam wall.
Hydroelectric power plants are very important for any nation if we want clean energy. However Hydro power opants are intermittent , due to seasonal variation their output varries. These type of projects requires huge Construction and commissioning capital and first 10 years are debt repayment period but after that there are no Fuel cost component in net tariff therefore very cheap electricity. More over DAMs stores excess water and prevent floods
Vinyl Scratch yeah.. with a name like Vinyl Scratch and that retarded "PON-3" spelling (because most ponyfreaks are also illiterate), pretty obvious sign you are.. and IF you're not, you might want to get un-lazy real fast because you don't want the reputation of an MLP freak, do you?
+As Above So Below I don't think they do that. From this dame to more or less 20 miles downstream all the way to the Attock bridge, there are few dozen villages on both side of the river, due to it's ice cold water, super fast current and rocky bed many un-experience visitor loose their life every summer. However during 70s and 80s un-notify cattle herders, fishermen, hunters & farmer use to get stuck on small small islands formed by many streams of the river, some lost their life and other lost their cattle. But this is Indus river, people still love it, if it is 104* degree June or July mid day, the water is ice cold, one dip will keep you shiver for long time, I swim this river from 7 or 8 years of age till 20s, only on one occasion I drown, but of God saved me.
+shujah4ever +shujah4ever I heard an alarm, what was that for if not to notify the people? You've all the information to depict negative yet when it comes to notifying people "you don't know" who's going to belive your bla bla bla?
Hussain Malik Grow-up instead of jumping the gun Kidd. How far down stream your alarm can be heard by the people ? Bring the fact and keep the blah blah to your self.
+shujah4ever you ignorant I've worked with Tarbela administration for two years this alarm rings in the real time and there's a preemptive measure too to notify the people might get effected.
Hussain Malik Listen you little Troll, it dose not matter how long you were a janitor at the Tarbela Admin. you fail to understand what I wrote in my comment. From Dame to Attock bridge the distance is 20/25 miles, dose your Alarm reach to every one in that area ? No. You might heard it in Admin. toilet room but not as near as Ghazi Khalo let alone to the distance of Attock. So you fail to understand and refute my claim by not providing any relevant proof. You are one of those internet Troll who argue just for the sake of jumping into the discussion. For someone to refute my claim should have one of the following proof. 1, Type of Alarm, and it's range . 2, A video clip recorded ten fifteen miles down stream with the sound of alarm Tarbela is equipped with. Troll on.
